Note the slide from simply being a criminal to now being a terrorist if one is engaged in criminal activity AND attempting to influence the US Government or population to effect political or social change.
In other words, any politically motivated person, who happens to have triggered a criminal charge, is automatically categorized as a terrorist.
So if you peacefully hold a placard at a parade, but are parked too close to a fire hydrant, federal terrorism charges may be levied against you.
Common sensically, most of the groups on the card would qualify as not being law abiding and better categorized as criminal. IMHO, I see no reason to distort criminal behavior as being terrorism when it fails to promote terror.

I don’t see any actual terrorists on their “Terrorist List”.

"...claim driving is a right, not a privilege..."
Does this definition expand enough to include those who believe:
"...marriage is a right, not a privilege..."?
I didn't think so.

I remember that one coming out of the Arizona FBI office like this one. This might be the same brochure.

Oops. I forgot the Iranian-sponsored “Believing Youth”; a Yemeni Shi’a movement.

Just FYI: this is old news, as this brochure was produced nearly 8 years ago.

The title is alarming and misleading. The FBI wasn't targeting Christians, merely the violent "christian identity" groups which have almost nothing in common with the real teachings of the Prince of Peace.
And "defenders of the Constitution" was in quotation marks. A lot of violent people throughout American history have hid narrowly selfish and violent aims behind defending the Constitution.
I'm not totally pleased with the tone of the FBI publication. They should have gone ahead and listed violent Muslim extremist groups and the general public has a right and responsibility to lawfully monitor and "police the police", but I really do not see anything greatly alarming or out of line with this FBI publication.

This thing has been around for a decade, it goes back to ‘99 during the Clintoon administration. But it was for real, AFAIK.

Well, I guess that at least half the folks on this site fall into one or more of those categories.
So this is what it’s come to. “Defending the US Constitution against the federal government and the UN” is now grounds to get you labeled an “extremist”.
And what on earth is “Christian Identity” doing on that list? Why is a Terrorism Task Force interested in that?
Take note, people. We are truly in a major historical period.

Hmmm - I didnt see any reference to Muslims - I guess thats because they are so peaceful. A minor oversight, reflecting the biases of the Clinton Adminstration. :)

Gee...no illegal alien gang groups on that list? Ni MS-13, Zetas?
To: El Gato
I suppose it is recycled back into prominence, considering the political leaning of those in WH. Not just Obama, but many old Clinton crews are back.

Interesting that Islamic Fundamentalists didn't even cross their minds but defenders of the constitution such as our military personnel did!
