It is an article of faith in the loopier precincts of the Internet, impervious to evidence to the contrary, that Barack Obama is ineligible to be president of the United States because he is not a "natural born citizen" as the Constitution requires.
All this would be quite harmless, like believing in the Illuminati or alien abduction, except that the extra-chromosome true believers have taken to filing suit in the federal courts basically seeking to overturn the election.

Obama is a racist who spent twenty years listening to anti-American racist pap in a racist “church” and gave large sums of money to that “church”.

Obama is an associate of a virulent anti-American radical terrorist, a member of a group who killed AMERICANS with bombs, who wished he had done more violence, whose most public moments in print are accompanied by a picture of him proudly and triumphantly standing on top of an American flag, the same flag I and my father served under, and my father was buried under. This man is one of Obama’s principal patrons, who by his own admission is “guilty as sin-free as a bird”, and quite proud of that.
People don’t care.
Obama is corrupt to the core, steered money towards his family (wife) and friends.

Obama is an avowed socialist who believes in redistribution of wealth.

Obama thinks higher taxes are the way to fix our problems.

Obama thinks higher gasoline prices are good for us.
People don’t care.
Obama thinks guns should be banned.
People don’t care.
Obama is a devotee of Saul Alinsky’s techniques as described in “Rules for Radicals”, one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

Obama is probably not a citizen eligible for the Presidency under the guidelines of the Constitution and pointedly and arrogantly refuses to provide the documentation.
People don’t care.
Our votes were trumped and negated by people like the damned ignorant idiot who came to the conclusion on national television that Obama was going to pay for her mortgage and her gasoline.
I understand your point of view, colorado tanker, but...people don’t care about the issues, qualifications and associations of this man. This man is intent on installing socialist policies, gutting our military, pandering to our enemies and betraying our allies. Through bureaucratic fiat and further entrenchment of liberalism in organizations such as A.C.O.R.N, this “stimulus package” is going to cement liberals in power for a long time no matter what.
We should fight back, tooth and nail with everything we have got and the equivalent of a boot in their ideological crotch, if that is what it takes. Lenin understood that ridicule was the best way to marginalize your enemies, and make no mistake, that is how they want to portray this effort. The fact that these three men who serve their country have filed suit is enough to make me accept the ridicule. If you are getting flack, you must be over the target.
Cute. If your going to accuse the President of the United States of being a non-citizen usurper, you’d better have more than a debate trick to back it up with.
I’ve not seen credible evidence that Vladimir Putin was born outside the US however, that does not does not make him a “natural born citizen” of the United States.
I submit that an absence of exclusionary documents (showing other than US NAT BORN) is not proof that a valid inclusionary one (presumably his original birth certificate) exists.
Presumably it DOES exist and data upon it will call into question the sincerity and authenticity of the one currently holding the title President of the United States.
Else, why hide it along with your college records?
Yes. I am angry about his stance on international law, as well as many other things.
When I decided I had to cast my vote for McCain, no matter how bad a candidate he was, I did it under the assumption that as bad as he was, he could not do the damage the Obama would do in the same time frame.
Now, I cannot believe how this man, ostensibly the leader of the wealthiest and most powerful country on earth, is determined to pedal the bicycle downhill faster than any of us dreamed it was possible. I never imagined he would be so aggressive in his agenda.
He is doing everything in his power to dismantle this country, and he has been in office less than two months.
Just imagine what he and his cohorts can do in two years with a willing Congress? And believe me, they are willing. I do think that most Americans do not realize the grave danger our republic is in.
Most of them don't, and if they figure it out, they go away, and are replaced with new ones.

I keep thinking that at some point he is going to go too far and actually hurt people who can hurt back and yet, his poll numbers are remarkably high. So I wonder out loud: what is it going to take to wake people up enough to ask questions about Obama? And one question, perhaps the most pertinent question, is his Constitutional eligibility.
Just to confuse things further, Hawaii, at that time, would issue a COLB to anyone who walked in with a babe in arms and asked, since a lot of the locals were still delivering babies in the back bedroom, on the Out Islands.
What really puzzles everyone is WHY NOT SHOW IT? Dear Leader could kill the whole question AND make a lot of his enemies look foolish, which he apparently gets wood from, for $12, plus postage. Odd that he won't....
Now, if that isn't what you heard over at DU, sorry about that. But then, lately, we have had a lot of "progressive conservatives" here lately, under orders to fog things up...
How about simple circumstantial evidence? He defends 22 lawsuits, rather than show a slip of paper we all have in some locked drawer in our homes. Millions of dollars out the window is a HUGE indicator that there is something amiss.
And next let's try simple logic.
1) It is impossible to prove a negative.
2) Ergo, challengers cannot prove he was NOT born in Hawaii.
3) Ergo, if he wishes to allege that he was born in Hawaii, it is incumbent upon HIM to provide that evidence.
