We have secured the Ampitheater at Lake Eola for Saturday, March 21 from 12:00 - 2:00. Bud Hedinger is on board. We have been contacted by Lloyd Marcus who is a conservative, patriotic singer, song writer and entertainer. He is on board as well and will be performing. There are many other plans in the works. So clear your calendars and spread the word. We are going to have a Tea Party! We are going to need to ask for some help with funding the event. We will be forwarding to you our website link which will be completed this afternoon. The website will have all needed information, updates and Paypal account for contributions for the event. Thank you for your patience and support!
I checked the site just now and saw that you now need a table. I checked yesterday and it appeared all was handled. It is 11:29am on the day of the event. Whenever there is an urgent matter, please email me in the future. jdragland@embarqmail.com. I am sorry that I won’t be able to come through on such short notice. I feel very badly about it. I will still be there in the next couple of minutes to show support.
Thanks! We did just fine, and Roos_girl brought a table. It was a great day! Sure photos and more information will be coming from other Florida Freepers who were there. :)
It really was wonderful. It was nice to see the turnout. My father even got a little choked up about the whole thing when we all sang “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. I didn’t see any news crews with the exception of Fox 35. Did you know of any others? Wouldn’t surprise me if none of the others bothered to show up, and even if they did, they would more than likely distort what we were trying to accomplish to fit their ideas.
Hi, I did hear that the local Fox news were there, but did not see them. We were manning the FreeRepublic table so was difficult to get around! Know there will be great photos coming soon and heard that there will be some TV coverage but most likely just local. Glenn Beck didn’t make it after all, but we had our own Freeper Kristin who gave a great speech! :)
