Stimulus bill far from perfect, Obama says

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama and Senate Republicans bickered Saturday over his historically huge economic recovery plan after states and schools lost tens of billions of dollars in a late-night bargain to save it.

The $827 billion measure is on track to pass the Senate on Tuesday despite stiff opposition from the GOP and disappointment among Democrats, including the new president who labeled it imperfect. Next up: Difficult negotiations between the House and Senate, which are divided over spending for tax cuts, education and aid for local governments.

It’s perfect for him, though. In a year or two, when the economy turns around, who’ll get the credit?

And far from his doing as well. I was wondering why he was relying so much on Nancy and Harry to craft this monstrosity, until someone pointed out he's never primarily sponsored a bill in his life. In other words, he doesn't know how to do it! We have a rank amateur in the White House.

If there is no evidence of stimulus by the 3rd quarter from this spending bill, the republicans will be blamed whether they vote for the bill or do not vote for the bill.

When the stimulus bill fail to stimulate, the dems will say the republicans forced them to greatly weaken the bill by pulling out some of the pork.

And if the republicans go along with this bill and vote for it and it flops, the dims will say that they and the gop messed it up together.

Unfortunately, this first bill is only the beginning, porkulus I, it will be followed by porkulus II in the 3rd quarter.

Snowe and the other traitors must be removed from Congress. This is the end of freedom in America. $4 billion for Obama’s ACORN vote fraud machine. Forget about voting. Game over.

So even Zero admits that the bill needs a lot of work. ‘Far from perfect’ means ‘Only ready for the insane and sleazy.’

If the ignorant bastard isn't so sure about the rest of the bill, he should plead the case for the items that he's sure will help, make the point from the pulpit before the American people and get those elements passed rather than the other garbage.

But silly me, this bill was never about helping America. It's about enslaving it.

First Biden said that even if we do everything right, there is a 30% chance the stimulus won’t work. Now Obama says it is far from perfect. Well, what are the odds it will work if it is far from perferc, I wonder.
