Have Specter’s number on speed dial right now...busy. I’ll keep trying.

Not even going to bother with Bob Casey. He’s just going to do what Reid tells him to do.

Must be feeling the heat of the voters. It is amazing how the MSM is avoiding the facts that the vast majority of people in the US do not want a “stimulus” package shoved down their throats.

Just hit all three and each are busy. For the moment.

If one does get through, they should logically explain why this is a bad idea and how using these quivers leaves us in worse shape later.

As in we won’t have any. And this pork will be back for renewal(s).

So stop it now!

So, let me get this straight. It started at 830b and there was outrage. Now, it has balloned to 920b and there is still outrage. So, this so called bipartisian team will get together to trim 100b, putting back near the original number and we should be ok with it...

I DONT THINK SO!!! Let’s burn those phone lines up.

Hot Air just announced an update on their site that Collins is starting to waiver as she has had a chance to look at the new bill. Time to put pressure on her because if she pulls out Snowe will most likely follow which will leave Specter.

I hope Collins Snowe and Specter feel very cold and lonely tonight.

HOW DARE they even be sitting around playing poker over a $900 BILLION DOLLAR pork package.

Do they really believe the people of Maine and Pennsylvania want to BET ONE TRILLION of their children’s future tax dollars on programs to build water parks in Miami, build even more empty schools for Milwaukee, paint bridges, change light bulbs, and paint childcare centers in Georgia?

Specter seems to be the ringleader and Collins sponsored this, so Snowe is the weak link. She should be targeted with phone calls the most.

Feinstein might defect. We need some moderate Dems like Blanch Lincoln or Baucus to defect also.

Three Republicans — Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Olympia Snowe (Maine) and Arlen Specter (Pa.) — continue to negotiate with Democrats

Negotiation for what? Surrender?

At 4:25 p.m. EST, Collins’ mailbox is full and Snowe’s line is busy...

...that alone says a lot.

Why doesn't John McPain take a hike, too?

He sure was Johnny-on-the-spot when he suspended his campaign and winged it to DC to support the disasterous first bailout (TARP).

He's apparently caught in the grip of inertia now that he could could make a psychological difference with the moderate legislators if he symbolically walked out of all O-ridiculous negotiations.

No guts, no glory, John (yes, I DID clean that up).
