See, the problem is, many other places around the country people do not have that kind of close knit community. I was from a small town, and I’m sure my mother would know who delivered me, but it’s never been something that mattered to me, so I have no idea who it was.

Why is it the one has not, and how many know why? In the DNC, RNC, or either party? And why did they not address it.
How many lawsuits are there? 20 or so? The attorneys have to file answers and motions and briefs; they fly around the country, appear by phone, write letters and memos, have client conferences, maybe hire local counsel, research, argue motions, etc. This is done at the both the lower and the appellate court levels. The legal fees would add up pretty quick, and I'm sure his attorneys “big firm” and not shy about billing; and he's got the money to pay them. I guarantee you that the attorneys are not charging $100/hour - probably $300/hr - maybe more.
In birther fantasyland he's spent "millions" (or is it "billions" now) fighting these suits.
In real life, attorneys on his behalf have filed routine motions to dismiss on suits that were quickly laughed out of court or "denied with no comment" if you will.
Conferences? Briefs? Research? Flights around the country? Again, only in birther fantasyland have these expensive legal actions taken place. In real life, motions to dismiss are filed and Obama continues to ignore the birthers' demands as their cases get thrown out of court one after the other.

I believe it was a combination of fear of being called rascist,direct financial personal risk through possible law suits ( Obama Lawyers),MSM media propaganda, and outright physical intimidation.

I am not arguing that he is definitely a “non-natural born citizen”, I am arguing that he has produced no evidence whatsoever that he IS a “natural born citizen”.
The evidence cited which you implied validated his claim as a natural born citizen is useless for the reasons I explained. The only known evidence that could settle the question is being concealed by 0bama at great cost to him.
Until he releases his original birth certificate with the details of the birth location and the signature of the attending physician (as McCain did when challenged), then I shall continue to believe he is hiding something.

A “natural born” citizen’s parents are both citizens at the time of birth. The issue that gave rise to the term was allegience to the country.
A person born here to non-citizen parents can only be a citizen if those parents were here under a resident alien visa, and thus having surrendered to the laws of the United States, IOW, there is no such thing as an “anchor baby.”
In real life, cases don’t get thrown out of court by judges laughing at them - they get thrown out by the defendant defending him or herself - with answers, motions, briefs, hearings, etc. If the defendants don’t defend themselves, the judges won’t do it for them.
I really haven’t dug deeply into this issue of how much was spent except to answer that post and state that defending lawsuits does cost money. No sane person can deny that.
That said, I do not know in which suits Obama was actually named a defendant. If he was not named, then he would not have to defend himself. To the extent that he was named, he has and is spending money on legal defense - lawsuits don’t magically disappear.
That’s the “real world”.
I have to agree with Jim Noble - I don't recall any of the babies I delivered by name, no matter how unusual, and I'm not an OB-GYN, so my delivery count isn't that high. I would expect small community hospitals where docs continue to treat and encounter mother and baby for years afterward would be different, but in a large city hospital without a continuing relationship with the patient, you'd need a very unusual memory or a very unusual event.
