No. The leases were only sold in December. Permits and lots of paperwork still neeeds to be filed.

After a consensus vote of Nimby Fat Cat Actors in the Area (Redford) and big city environmentalists, the Chicago "Godfather" ordered Interior Secretary Salazar to invalidate the Bureau of Land Management's leases, under the rather ridiculous claim that it will pollute the air.

I've seen hundred's of oil wells. The oil isn't exposed to the air while pumping, and I'm confidant no one has a plan to build a sprawling refinery in the middle of the "arches". This is all about one more expensive abuse of power by our narcissistic, unstable, and power hungry "Present" leader that doesn't consider or care about the far reaching consequences of his actions

A conservative estimate of the oil reserves on these leases is 800 billion barrels of oil. Some of those reserves are in oil shale. These reserves represent 3 times the oil reserves of Saudi Arabia.
