President Barack H. Obama is poised to be the most pro-homosexual chief executive in history.

Unveiling his agenda Tuesday on the newly refurbished version of the White House Web site, Obama called for the repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), as well as the extension of more than 1,000 federal marriage benefits and of adoption rights to homosexual couples.

The new administration laid out its plans on the Web site--whitehouse.gov--at 12:01 p.m. EST, during Obama’s swearing-in ceremony.

The site’s “Civil Rights” section lists a number of items long on the homosexual agenda, including expanding federal hate-crimes laws, repealing the ban on homosexuals in the military and extending the definition of workplace discrimination to include sexual orientation.

In the section entitled “Support for the LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) Community,” the Web site says Obama wants full inclusion of homosexual couples under federal law.

“President Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples,” the Web site says.

“Obama also believes we need to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and enact legislation that would ensure that the 1,100-plus federal legal rights and benefits currently provided on the basis of marital status are extended to same-sex couples.” the Web site says....

Anyone got a summary list.

I thought he was opposed to homosexual “marriage.”

1. His position on any issue is dependent upon who he is talking to at the time.

2. He does not believe that elected officials should be held to the things that they may have said while campaigning.

3. He doesn't care what you think.

Yeah, stopping Obama was not as important to some third party voters as their wasted protest vote. Idiots.

“President Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples,”

Are these the same equal legal rights and privileges that have been used to trample on Caucasian rights in the name of stopping racism?

So did the third party voters that threw away their votes instead of trying to stop Obama. They own this train wreck too.

Government intrvention in marriage is the problem. Get the government entirely out of marriage. No laws regarding marriage, no benefits, etc.

After that, if a basic public interest substaniating the necessity of government intervention in marriage is proved to exist, let that interest be the foundation and limitation of any goverment intervention.

I hope that President Obama is wise enough to abandon the economic policies that he as advocated in the past and thus avoid the destruction and collapse of the U.S. economy.

If he's smart enough, he will

(1) Abolish the capital gains tax;

(2) Abolish corporate taxes;

(3) Abolish the inheritance tax;

(4) Secure property rights in the U.S.;

(5) Watch foreign and domestic capital flood into the United States; and

(6) Watch the U.S. economy soar to unprecedented heights and, with it, the other economies of the world; and

(7) Take the credit for saving the U.S. and the world; and

(8) Assure his place as A GREAT MAN in history!

If he does all this--he will BE a GREAT MAN--as well as a benevolent genius!

There's always hope!

When Harry Truman became President, nobody thought him a great man, but he was.

If President Obama does the above, he will be a greater man than Harry Truman. Pray that he is, and pray that he does.

Nudging those brave souls that refused to vote for John McCain based upon some sort of conservative moral ground... elections have consequences.

My parish priest was even more direct.

He told the members of the parish that if they voted for someone who is against life, than any legislation passed into law becomes their OWN.

Your hoping and praying for a man that will do none of those things. He will come away as the most radical liberal phony ever to grace the White House.

Hooray for third party voters! What I learned in this election is how important it is to vote for men and women sustained principle and honest character. How is that?

Not a single Senator or Representative stood to challenge Obama on the Constitution's requirements. I sall never again throw away my vote to the "better of two choices".

The politicians count all votes. They -- but not idiot pundits -- know the value of those "non-aligned" voters.

You want a super-vote? Vote your principles!
