Last night Ed Hale presented the (heretofore, unseen) divorce decree on Plains Radio between Obama's mother and Obama Sr ( her FIRST marriage).
The key bonus in this was the revelation of the specific version of her name in the decree, Stanley Ann D. Obama.
Using this precise name variation ( the abbreviated, initial "D" --instead of 'Dunham', was the cipher that broke open the search), they are claiming to have now located a POE (Port of Entry ) document that Obama's mother provided when she returned to the US with her son--soon after Obama's birth, (allegedly in Kenya).
The POE allegedly includes Obama's birth information/certificate ( British Kenya) as required for entry. Stay tuned for events...see other comments below. -------------------------------------------------- DesertVet Newbie

No secret I've been highly skeptical on this whole ordeal. I'm now beginning to think this could very well lead the way to the smoking gun. Until this document she has only been known as "Dunham", no where in public records has Obama's Mothers name read as it does on this divorce decree. I believe the "D" being abreviated has allowed them to locate her records. This has led them to a "port of entry" birth certificate for Barack Obama. She submitted this POE certificate when she came back to the US, and the fact that there is a POE Certificate...proves that he was indeed born out of the country.
This would mean that Obama has never been through Immigration & Naturalization Services in his life, he became a citizen of Indonesia, and never applied for a U.S. passport. If this is the case, then he's not even a citizen, let alone a natural born citizen.
I'm not 100% certain on my assertion of above take on this document issue, but I think it is HIGHLY plausible. I'm still not ready to dance in the streets by any means yet (Yeah, I'm a tough sell). But I am quite intriguied at the moment. Couldn't say that earlier today.
That is my understanding.
I don't believe ANYONE is saying the divorce decree contains proof, other than what it is; a decree of divorce.
This thread is replete with the notion that the decree gave the PI a clue (Stanley Ann D. Obama) that helped locate another clue (point of entry location,) that IF true, leads to a smoking gun. Ed alleges that a document exists in this POE city, stating Obama was born in Kenya. Either this is true, or, it's false. One will have to wait upon those seeking the documents to know for sure, whether, Ed Hale is right or not.
All the magic divorce decree proves is that bambi's parents were married in Hawaii.
What ever gave you the idea the case is closed?...The SCOTUS has coference scheduled for the Berg cases on two different days and the NJ and CN cases are still listed as pending.
If you have been following these cases you would have known that there is no “standing” for citizens until BO has become President Elect and that doesn’t happen until congress meets next week. (BTW the SCOTUS has schedule their first conference the day after)

I believe the point you are trying to make is that, as of Nov 4, 2008, the only qualification for being POTUS (our Constitution not withstanding) is
birth as a Federally defined minority.
I tend to agree with that assertion (well, since I made it first.)

No, I think that if this worst-case (for him) scenario had been established prior to the election, it might have stopped him. But the fact of his having been elected by the people gives him a great deal of standing as the next POTUS.

Senators and other mucky mucks may not travel the same as you and I. The trip can be handled from start to finish without all the fuss of a passport.
We went into Manila with a governor's driver picking us up. He met us before we went to customs, picked up our bags and took us out the side door to his car. No passport, no nothing but a how-do-you-do.
If I can do that, why would a US senator need a passport?

Nice try ? I am just pointing out the law to you where YOU misinterpreted it. The regulation was not rescinded. It still stands in place for those born in that time period. It is still valid today. As far as what the courts would do ? Who knows ? Are they looking out for their own self interests or the rule of law ? Regardless of that, if it is shown he was naturalized, he had to have known it. By putting a fake COLB online claiming all the info was true and using it in support of raising funds, he is guilty of wire fraud - a federal offense.
Unfortunately I believe you are right. Despite his disqualification for the office, I believe the SCOTUS will bow to the “will of the people” and just avoid ruling on his eligibility. More likely the question will continue to produce a larger cloud over him as it festers over his adminstration and will contribute to “throwing the bastard out” in four years.
That's true, because the Constitution doesn't seem to carry the day anymore, but I still want the entire farce laid bare. They've decided to throw the Constitution out (again). I want it to be as clear as possible that Obama has committed fraud.

Why are “anchor babies” not qualified to be President? Because they re not “natural born” citizens.
