Yes, it was British East Africa until 1920. Then it was Kenya Colony until 1963 when it went to just “Kenya”.

Indeed. I actually brokered the sale of an article for a friend. Just to consider the story they wanted ironclad proof, a lie detector test and she had to agree to be photographed in and have her pic published.
