If you think the 50s were bad you should have seen the 40s. My prize possession was a sand box and a few broken small toys that I made roads with and one time my little sister walked through it and kicked sand in my face. Well not really but that's what I told our Mother not knowing Mother had seen the whole thing. I still have a phobia of Wooded Spoons to this day and every time I call my sister the sandbox comes up...
