In addition to the cited scheduled meeting on November 5, a story posted on the net on Saturday, November 08, 2008 at 9:48 p.m. confirms the meeting:
QUINCY, IL — Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.Obama met with Governor Rod Blagojevich earlier this week to discuss it. Illinois law states that the governor chooses that replacement. Back in the old Whitewater Days (the founders and first members of Free Republic will remember this well), the operative phrases from the Clintons went something like this:
“I have no recollection of that...”
“You won’t find a shred of evidence regarding that...”

It sounds like the Obama-nuts are pulling up the old phrases that worked so well in times past.

Those lying pieces of crap. They have a before and after article, and it wasn’t until now that they decided they weren’t accurate and didn’t happen?

A meeting on Nov. 5 doesn't fit with the transcript of the phone tap in the charges. There's no indication of it: Blago just kept on rolling with his schemes, with no indication of any direct meeting with anyone from the Obama camp at the time.
The stories can disappear, but what if Fritzgerald the meetings all on tape! We really don’t know, but just might be he does!
Good grief! What next? Fitz loses the recordings?
