Back in the old Whitewater Days (the founders and first members of Free Republic will remember this well), the operative phrases from the Clintons went something like this:

“I have no recollection of that...”

“You won’t find a shred of evidence regarding that...”

“That’s so outrageous a question/claim that it doesn’t deserve the dignity of a response...”

It sounds like the Obama-nuts are pulling up the old phrases that worked so well in times past.

Followed by......

“We’ve already responded to those false charges fully and completely. They are old news.”

Those phrases won't work today because;

1. When Clinton first took office, the World Wide Web didn't exist and people had to depend on TV for their news.

2. FreeRepublic didn't exist until 1996.

3. There was Usenet but not too many people had access to the internet except through BBS's(AOL, Compuserve, etc), at Colleges and Universities, scientific labs, military bases and government jobs.

4. The only outlets for non-MSM news was shortwave, a few local talk radio stations and FAX networks.

5. There was no text messaging, Twitter, YouTube, Google or internet radio.

Today is a different world from the Clinton era. Unfortunately there's still a lot of lamebrains who depend on the MSM for their news and they all voted for Barry.

<<<< Back in the old Whitewater Days... >>>>

All of these weasel phrases are absolutely reminiscent of the Clinton years. Well, we have been told that the Clintons were never going away. Now we are seeing their spawn in action. What a dreadful 4 years we have ahead of us.

Just like many other kinds of reruns, I don’t think I can watch this one.
