After the story had been out for a while about the Gov of Drudge, bolded in a font about 6 in bright red color with no link posts the title of this thread. I cut and pasted it from his site. In light of recent arrests it is quite plausible more are coming with regards to Obama’s land deal. Maybe something was leaked to Drudge. I do not know. I posted what Drudge posted. I am aware that land deal is two years old with subpoenas. I am also aware though when cards start dropping and people get arrested people speak. Did Gov. say something on the tapes ot implicate Obama, who knows.

Fitzgerald has always been a straight shooter for corruption no matter the party which tells me that there was more to the Libby story the WH didn’t want out because he was ready to talk if he had to go to prison so he got a semi-pardon of whatever it was. People here were too quick to call it a witch hunt but where there was smoke there was fire. No one that takes on the Mafia is going to flinch at Chicago crime or anywhere else.

Blagojevich and Harris were arrested simultaneously at their homes at about 6:15 a.m., according to Frank Bochte of the FBI. Both were transported to FBI headquarters in Chicago.
