This birth certificate issue has been going on for some time now and for those hoping for some kind of dramatic outcome you are in for another big disappointment.
First, there is always the chance that there is a valid birth certificate proving Obama to be a US citizen.
Second, enough time has passed such that the Obama cult has manufactured and installed a phony certificate that will re-route us back up to option 1 above, he will have a valid certificate. Who do you think works in these kinds of government offices? They're all democrats.
Third, no court is going to force Obama to prove himself to be a citizen, the burden is on those making the accusation that he is not a citizen. A criminal doesn't have to prove he didn't commit a crime, the state has to prove that he did.

Flame on, and sorry for the Vanity, but this is driving me nutz, this issue gets my hopes up but then common sense dashes my hope on the rocks, and this now is a daily occurrence. You are going to find a valid certificate at the end of this road if you are lucky enough to get a judge to demand it, and that is very unlikely, whether the certificate be real or phony it won't matter, and will never be able to proven either way.

That still doesn’t change my personal resolution (as I am a citizen, not a slave-Yet) that I will NOT obey (on Constitutional grounds and that I as a citizen have right to demand OUR system live up to it’s obligations) ANY law that Obama passes that is #1) Un-Constitutional, or #2)Immoral.
He’d better prove he is eligable otherwise it calls into question his whole adminstration-they better just call him “Care-Taker” or Dictator something like that because (I highly doubt he’d be removed anyway, even if it was found out he were not natural born) he’s surely not President in this case (no way around it)..! How easy would it be for him to release it??..
...or it proves that he's one of the Founding Fathers.

Now: I wonder what they used for registering a birth that occurred outside the country (which I am told Hawaii actually did at the time). This form assumes birth on one of the islands. They must have had a different form for registering overseas births.

Not trying to come across as flaming you here - just putting out something based on what you wrote -
Let’s not forget the possibilities of Acorn, voter fraud, international campaign funding...did he really get the majority vote?
And would he have gotten the majority vote without complete bias of the MSM because he was the chosen first black presidential candidate? What if they would have lifted McCain up to that same level of embellishment? A Republican would be taking the oath of office in January. Of that I have no doubt!

Have you seen a Hawai’ian Certificate of Live Birth? Not a Certification of Live Birth, but a Certificate of Live Birth.
To fake one, they’d have to put the name of a real doctor, nurse or midwife on it, with a signature. If they did that, it would open up new lines of inquiry that would be difficult to defend, and would then be truly open to a criminal investigation for fraud. Ugly, real fast.
OTOH, a Certification of Live Birth is not proof of a Hawai’ian birth.

I am not necessarily “hoping” that Obama is ineligible. I would just like to see some respect for the Constitution. A rival candidate (Alan Keyes) and an official elector have initiated a case in California. They have valid reasons to see proof of citizenship.
Obama should not block attempts to force him to show proof of natural citizenship. He needs to demonstrate transparency. A forgery with this level of exposure had better be perfect...it’s an awfully big risk to even attempt it.

Thanks to Acorn, voter fraud, foreign donations and dead media. The results of this election stink and he will never be my president.
It seems to me that the Secretaries of State are the ones who should be ensuring that the candidates on any given ballot are qualified.
What else do they do all day?
As for your #3, this is not a criminal issue at the moment. It is a Constitutional issue, and the Constitution seems clearly to put the burden of proof on the person claiming to be qualified for the office, not on his/her accusers.

Granted, but are we charging him with a crime?
And what is your solution to keep unqualified candidates off the ballot? If they don’t have to prove they are citizens, or 35, or whatever other requirement there is, we could have Kim Jong Il come over here and run.
There has to be a way to verify a candidate’s qualifications, and I don’t see how “innocent until proven guilty” keeps us from doing so.
I want this story to go away as well. I’m afraid of the chaos that will ensue if it doesn’t.
