WASHINGTON (Map, News) - A Republican congressman from Georgia is calling President-elect Obama a Marxist and warning that he might be planning to form a Gestapo-like security force so he can rule as a dictator.
Two-term Rep. Paul Broun of Athens cited a July speech that has circulated on the Internet in which Obama called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.

Well, I’m not comfortable with the concept of his civilian corps, or whatever he calls it, but I don’t even know what it is yet, and the gestapo reference is way over the top...we will all be in the streets before anything like the Gestapo appears. I just don’t want to see us go down the same hysterical path that the moonbat libs did - this irrational, demonic, hatred of Bush. Let’s be calculating, rational, and oppose Obama on policy in an intelligent way.

It doesn’t sound like a terrorist attack at all. It is going to be an attack against us and against our constitution and our way of life. Obama may be planning to implement the Democrats’ wet dream of the past 7 years which is to march George Bush into a court and try him as an international war criminal. Maybe Obama will just confiscate our property and homes and guns to be given as reparations. Maybe he will spare our lives if we “serve”.
I believe that the very worst that we can imagine is about to happen.
In his book, he talks about how much he hates his white blood and how he wishes that he could “burn it out of himself”. I believe every word that was written.
There isn’t going to be a terror attack. Obama is the terror attack.

The MSM as well as people on the internet has been pulling Joe the Plumber type of stuff for years. It is not unique to this election. I agree with you on the rest. My post was directed at the tinfoiltry in general that has been running rampant on here for months.
I checked out his web site and saw his photo with U of GA football coach. I talked to someone who was at the U of FL homecoming game last week or so in FL. He said there were about 200,000 people there and a lot in RVs just for the party. RVs as far as the eye could see. He said he saw one O sign and endless McCain signs and shirts.
I am sure Mr. Broun has a lot of us supporting him. We need more Repubs like him.

I agree. Let the Free Republicans wise, sane, rational and lay plans for any and all possible moves by Obama. In this case its quite logical to plan for the worst case, which would be a sort of Red Guards.
Represenative Broun can be expecting visitors soon. probably driving up in a white van wearing ski jackets and ski masks

I agree with you, and i think the “red scare” stuff is politically stupid.
On the other hand, there is a real issue. As i asked “The_Republican”, what is it that Obama’s national Security Force is supposed to do that is not covered by the following: FBI, INS, ATF, Transport Security, Customs and border, Citizenship and Immigration Enforcement, Customs Enforcement, Secret Service, Coast Guard, state, local and county police and sherifs etc. etc. etc...?

I think that is a very accurate description. We don't need to start acting like a bunch of nut jobs. We need to get back to the fundamentals of conservatism. We need to develop winning strategies.

Rush has said he will use his “Moveon.Org” database for just this purpose.
When Lieberman (for example) stands against Obama and Obama sends his name to his database he will immediately have 100,000 phone class, 100,000 emails and 100’s of people waiting by the nearest door.
He’ll have to have protection to go to the grocery store. This is potentially what we are looking at.
But at least there won’t be the return of “Brown Shirts”. They sill be “Green Shirts”.
