No. The turnout was GOP +3. The rats won but we had more voters turnout.

I'm surprised this is a Fox News poll. FNC today is sounding like McCain-Palin would need a miracle in order to win. For the last couple of months, FNC has sounded like Sean Hannity surrounded by Allan Colmes clones. Hopefully, FNC will get back to normal after McCain-Palin win.

As for this poll, it shows this election will be close. If the "undecideds" break for McCain-Palin, as expected, we will have a very happy night.

now the problem with that is that people are going to have to vote McCain and then Warner...how many people are going to do that??

If they're able to cross over when polled, I'm quite certain they can manage to cross over with the voting machines.

What’s the national lead now, 7? After it had been 3 just a couple of days ago? Hard to believe. I just can’t wait for this emotional roller coaster ride to be over though.

That is huge. As I said before, no doubt in my mind, Virginia will go to the Hero.

Would that not be the same for Gallup etc?

Do you know what Rasmussen uses for his party affiliation in state polling?

Around 7% more dems weighed in his polls, which he has constantly changed during this election.

For Fox, yes.

I believe, in reality, all polls should be within the MOE, if the true turnout numbers were used.

It’s one big media and pollster scam conspiracy out there.

I agree with you on the Bradley effect being 3% minimum and expect to go even higher after all the calls into Minnesota the last few days.

I am still predicting white flight from the Dems to McCain for a host of reasons including McCain is someone they know all about and trust and know little about Obama except he wants Change and don’t trust.

Bottom line ‘affirmative action’ is going to get Obama in the end!

FOXNEWS Radio just reported on these, and their spin was “Obama and McCain are in a statistical tie” in states where McCain was ahead or tied, and “McCain was trailing” where Obama showed a lead within the margin of error.

No bias there!

That is very true. Virginia of all states just has to stay red. I mean really none of the southern states should turn that ugly shade of blue. In seriousness, the south has the majority of people who are patriotic and church going IMHO. (I am Pennsylvania and hope my absentee is counted). McCain/Palin 2008!!!

So, he uses the same as his national polling, regardless of the state he’s polling?

Could it be as simple as they are asking to many Dems in the surveys?

Also 9 out of 10 people refuse to take part in the polls.

Not to mention, the dem leanings of the actual pollsters and the phone workers themselves??

I'm not even ready to relax, in fact I'm not sure I could relax.
But - am I the only one who feels that the FOX Obamapoligists are starting to hedge their bets?

From the chubby lady who claimed that the 'bankrupt the coal industry' comments were a plea for free enterprise, to Beckel's reminder that only some states allow early voting (hence a 50/50 part split meant nothing)...there seems to be a communal step toward the back door.

Yes or no?

(PS: I got a kick out of a rare allusion to Obama having disabled the validation feature of his credit card donation site. But only a nasty, probably racist, republican would have picked up on it)

I can help you there: A whole lot of people. From my canvassing efforts over the weekend, I've never seen so many ticket-splitters. I don't know what they see in this Warner (maybe some truly are confusing him for John, but I doubt it, these are astute voters). McCain takes the Old Dominion, but unfortunately we lose a senate seat.
