About 50 parishioners were locked into the Assemblies of God church before it was set ablaze. They were mostly women and children. Those who tried to flee were hacked to death by machete-wielding members of a mob numbering 2,000.

The 2008 New Year Day atrocity in the Kenyan village Eldoret, about 185 miles northwest of Nairobi, had all the markings of the Rwanda genocide of a decade earlier.

By mid-February 2008, more than 1,500 Kenyans were killed. Many were slain by machete-armed attackers. More than 500,000 were displaced by the religious strife. Villages lay in ruin. Many of the atrocities were perpetrated by Muslims against Christians.

The violence was led by supporters of Raila Odinga, the opposition leader who lost the Dec. 27, 2007, presidential election by more than 230,000 votes. Odinga supporters began the genocide hours after the final election results were announced Dec. 30. Mr. Odinga was a member of Parliament representing an area in western Kenya, heavily populated by the Luo tribe, and the birthplace of Barack Obama's father.

Mr. Odinga had the backing of Kenya's Muslim community heading into the election. For months he denied any ties to Muslim leaders, but fell silent when Sheik Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum, appeared on Kenya television displaying a memorandum of understanding signed on Aug. 29, 2007, by Mr. Odinga and the Muslim leader. Mr. Odinga then denied his denials.

A fellow freeper just linked us to this one. I’m so sick and upset. I usually handle things pretty well, but to imagine our entire nation being duped like this.

It was all in motion for a long time.

I’ve had the feeling, since 9-11. Since the unrealistic sarcasm towards President Bush even. (He didn’t cause 9-11, and though not EVER thing was handled perfect, our troops, and our people here have done a da%n good job.) Then we got hit with unprecedented natural disasters, and I recall the President offered help BEFORE Katrina, but he was blamed!

What hurts is when other countries sit back on their laurels and DO NOTHING!

Whats laughable is that now their economies are tanking too.

What is predictable is that Islam HAS to rule the world. That IS THEIR MAIN EDICT! THE “WHOLE BEING” OF THEIR FAITH!

You will either convert or die when they are accomplishing this.

Look at the population of this religion in countries around the world.

We have a mosque just down the street from us. IT’S ALWAYS EMPTY!!

We are hearing the same thing every where there is one. Why is that?

You missed one thing. He will not just be a political leader, he will act and talk like a Christian and the anti Christ will perform great signs and wonders and miracles, much like the sorcerers in Pharoah’s court performed miracles that Moses had to out do to show who was really listening to God.

Obama doesn’t seem to know the Bible well enough to be the anti Christ, tho he is, as John says in the book of John, of the anti christ spirit.

Because of the great Delusion that God promises He will send on those who no longer love the truth, most in the world will actually believe the anti Christ is Jesus and will willingly murder those who will not bow the knee.

We aren’t there just yet. Also, there is to be the False Prophet who will usher in the Anti Christ.

I was out of the country in January while all this was going on, listening daily to Odinga’s horrific events unfolding in Kenya on BBC. It was heartbreaking genocide. Also, since BBC wouldn’t mention the nature of the murderers, and based on the BBC’s practice of protecting Islamists, I assumed the murderers were muslims.

Was any of this reported in the USA?

I cannot believe Obama is getting away with supporting this. I can’t believe the US media will not report Obama’s connection to this. Pure evil.

At no point has Senator Obama tried to distance himself from Odinga.

And that's a key point. At some point, Senator "Coke-head" Obama has at least publicly distanced himself from some of the more reprehensible people that he has associated with his whole life, but Senator Obama has never condemned Odinga and his murderous ways.
