Audio Unearthed
ATTN: Coal states Virginia , Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana and more guess what Obama told San Francisco about you.
San Francisco Gate Interview January 17 2008
Can you find for me a link to the Obama anti-McCain ad on coal running int he coal state areas like SW VA? Rush’s staff can pick pieces from the contrasting audio-videos and expose the lies of the Obama campaign. I would like to send both to him, and let his staff handle the explosion.
Obama is a liar about every issue. His real goal is to make the U.S. more dependent on the oil produced by terror sponsoring countries. His goal is to turn the U.S. into a socialist hell hole.”
Don’t forget the burka company that his “wife” Michelle is going to be CEO of.
I sent this to Americas Power and to FactCheck.org (who says that McCains ads accusing Obama of being anti-coal are false).”
I am totally convinced that factcheck.org is a totally own subsidiary of the Nobama campaign.
Yeah, we NEED new coal plants. You can’t bankrupt one segment of an industry without damaging the whole thing. It’s like chopping off your arm because you don’t like your fingernails...
So the old Coal industry is going to be grandfathered in with Obama, only new coal plants will be punished? Does this make sense?
Well, since they tried to float his forged COLB for him, I’d say it’s a good bet that Factcheck.org is one of the floaters in Obama’s septictank. Anything Ayers has been associated to is suspect, ANYTHING.
Yep. Although rather than locusts, I think that the more appropriate plague analogy in this case would be: The Black Death. :)
I mean we need the old plants too...
You’ve got a HIT here! Thank you for your diligence!
When I was in ND there were massive(100+cars)coal trains..”
If the coal industry is hammered, how about the train industry that hauls that coal?
I rode the Pony Express Trail in 2001, 2000 miles-8 weeks. When we were in Nebraska and Wyoming, we saw 2/3 locomotive trains with the same number of cars=120 every 30 minutes or so.
At night time, the sweet sound of the train whistles in the distance was like music. The echoes were really interesting.
Others call the growing resistance to coal power worrying.
It is a crisis for us because what we are not really focusing on is: Where is the electricity we need for the next 50 years going to come from? said Gregory Boyce, chairman of Peabody Energy, at a clean tech conference recently in Palm Springs, Calif. We view it as short-term and very unfortunate because we need to continue to build these new coal plants that are at least 15 to 20 percent more carbon-efficient than the plants they replace while we continue to work on technologies for the next generation of plants that are carbon-capture ready or that capture carbon and store it.
With US energy demand growing about 1.2 percent a year, big utilities must get energy from somewhere.
~~~
Some in the power industry also say gas-fired turbines are less reliable when used for base load power the turbines that spin day and night and not just for peak loads.
Theres a serious crunch with respect to having enough generating capacity coming in the next 10 years, says Rick Sergel, chief executive officer of North American Electric Reliability Corp., which serves the federal government as chief overseer of the US electric grid. If coal doesnt play its role, its going to be a major issue.
~~~
If they dont start building coal plants, its going to be an economic prosperity problem for the country, says Richard Storm, CEO of Storm Technologies, an Albemarle, N.C., company that specializes in optimizing coal-fired power plants. We need coal. Coal is a national treasure.
If millions more die as a result of the extreme worldwide poverty that exrtreme enviromentalism will produce they are OK with that too.’””
The more that die, the easier to control the remainder.
If he loses the election his career is toast since his history has been unearthed in spite of his best efforts.
His only supporters are radical fruitcakes (Acorn, Weathermen) and the the Blue City states will burn in rage when his true agenda ( no change - just more opression and this time HE's the MAN).
Get ready for a lot of turmoil. The Obamacorns don't know what they are buying with their votes and are too dizzy to understand buyer's remorse.
Here are his own words. He’s going to bankrupt them all.
“The first step in doing this is to phase out a carbon-based economy that’s causing our changing climate. As President, I will set a hard cap on all carbon emissions at a level that scientists say is necessary to curb global warming - an 80% reduction by 2050. To ensure this isn’t just talk, I will also commit to interim targets toward this goal in 2020, 2030, and 2040. These reductions will start immediately, and we’ll continue to follow the recommendations of top scientists to ensure that our targets are strong enough to meet the challenge we face.
In addition to this cap, all polluters will have to pay based on the amount of pollution they release into the sky. The market will set the price, but unlike the other cap-and-trade proposals that have been offered in this race, no business will be allowed to emit any greenhouses gases for free. Businesses don’t own the sky, the public does, and if we want them to stop polluting it, we have to put a price on all pollution. It’s time to make the cleaner way of doing business the more profitable way of doing business.
There is no doubt that this transition will be costly in the short-term.”

If he looses, the rioting will be enough to end his career...
just watched some of Sarah Palin rally in Canton, OH. No mention of the bankrupting coal plants issue. opportunity lost
