ZOGBY: MCCAIN MOVES INTO LEAD 48-47 IN ONE DAY POLLING

ZOGBY SATURDAY: McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday poll. He is beginning to cut into Obama's lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all...

OK, so now we BELIEVE Zogby?

Until McCain slips behind, and then we'll be calling it "special sauce" time.

As someone who's been pessimistic the whole election, I am cautiously optimistic--i.e., I won't be surprised if Obama wins, but I can't deny the obviously positive information that's out there.

I have had this sense that media and Obama, their man, are doing what the leftists so often do, which is pile on. They are so aware that they are deceptive, so aware of their own attempts to hide the truth, that they get nervous and over-do it.

I think Obama's TV commercial may be his "suspending my campaign"--something that backfires and acts as a speedbump. In this case, though, it may have happened too close to election day for him to correct it, so he is making it worsr, possibly, with more stupid ads, more pressure, more rhetoric.

I may be delusional, but this is the most hope I've had in weeks.

Clinton didn't keep radical company. Obama hung with the most unsavory assortment of characters. You can judge him by the company he kept.

The photo Drudge posted of McCain says it all . . .

A wise old man who knows more than we know. And who has faith in the decency of this country.

God be with you John and Sarah.

This is Zogby. He starts playing with the percentages on who he is polling based on what he is seeing from early voting.

I think that he has seen that early turnout is not the landslide of young voters there was supposed to be as normal and is now making adjustments.

It is great see McCain/Palin in the lead though. It has been a long time.

Its like the bear shat in the woods. The MSM is not going to publicize it. People who read Drudge are in the know. Those who get all their info from CBSPMNSNBCABCCNNFOX are in the dark.

I heartily agree.

It’s my thought that things must be very bleak in Obambi Town tonight. Their house of cleverly put together polls, is slowly sinking into the Kenyan marsh.

The Zogby pole, right or wrong, signals that the BLITZ has begun.

We must work as though we are 10 points down. America is worth saving and until we have this in the bag we must WORK, PRAY and get out the vote.

now HOW did I miss that???

Thank you for the link.

Good speculation there....

On another subject, Rush again said today that the Gov. of Hawaii sealed Obama’s birth cert while he was out visiting Gramma last week.....I missed THAT too! And I have been all over FR this week!

More cowbell!

Maybe it’s Obama’s post-infomercial bounce? ;) Everyone’s sick of him.

Yep, this is kind of what Zogby did last time.
Kerry up a bunch supposedly during a ton of the election cycle, then it shrinks a week out.

We are going to not only defeat Obama, but we are going to gain some seats in the House and hold our filibusterer in the Senate, and possibly take it back!!!

I think that he has seen that early turnout is not the landslide of young voters there was supposed to be as normal and is now making adjustments.

This is one of the multiple stories the media aren't pursuing. A local libertarian talk host was going on and on about how Obama was going to "kill" McCain in early voting, but in the last few days I've been reading that this doesn't look to be the case. Black are voting for Obama, but they've been voting for the dems by huge percentages for years.

And how many times have we heard about this "wave of young voters" that peters out before it hits?

In 2000 Gore was supposed to have the young voters and in 2004 Kerry was supposed to have them and now Obama in 2008.

History shows that young voters do not turn out in elections in great percentages. You can register them but they don’t show up.
