As reported on another thread:
"Major Garrett reports from Hawaii 10 minutes ago that David Axelrod the Campaign Manager for Barack Obama says as of this morning the campaign had a meeting in Chicago and according to internal numbers they have "a clear road to victory holding all Kerry states while picking up Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia with an excellent shot at Montana, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Indiana."
They are saying they will get to 400 EV's election night."
And I just heard through the grapevine yesterday that McCain-Palin are needing grassroots support in battleground states like Nevada, Montana, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, etc.
Can you imagine conservative Republican states going for Obama? No, and neither can I. Obama has the money, the press and the resources. McCain-Palin has the grassroots. It's time for the grassroots to scramble to action!
Grassroots? That's us! Time for all Free Republic chapters and members to visit or call the closest McCain-Palin or Republican headquarters, grab some signs, man the phones, walk the precincts, join rallies, spread the word! Don't let Obama and ACORN steal the election!! Get in their faces!!
We did it in 2000 and 2004, we can do it again in 2008!!
Go to work FReepers and Lurkers!! Get out the VOTE!!
Still, imho, Obama is the most dangerous candidate for President that we have yet seen.
“I have a better chance of finding buried treasure in downtown Boston.”
I hear ya.. I’m in RI (behind enemy lines) so I guess my local campaign office would be Manchester, NH!
This election is about slogans.
Print signs with slogans and post them at busy intersections and high traffic areas.
“No to Socialism” “Socialism isn’t “change””
McCain’s not perfect, but he’s a million times better than B. Hussein.
Praying and hoping, and doing what I can in the People’s Republic of Kalifornia to get out the message.
Put me on the MCain list please.
I HAVE TAKEN OFF WORK NOV 3 AND NOV 4TH TO HELP THE CAMPAIGN!!!!
Yep, I’ll be making calls!!
What the hell happened to New England?
Now we’re going to take David Axelrod’s word for it on the election? Obama’s campaign manager?
Please people.
You made my day!
You can make calls through McCain’s website if you sign up, by the way! www.johnmccain.com
Call your local GOP office as they may be able to direct you to where they most need help.
I have an idea! I found a website that might be useful for grass-roots style emailing.
I’m sure all of us have in our inboxes an email or two with hundreds and hundreds of email addresses within the body of the email, not in the TO or CC box. Examples of these are the chain-letter type emails, be they prayer requests or the ubiquitous “forward this email to get rich” scheme.
If you copy the body of the email into this site (http://www.surf7.net/product/tools/extractor.php#) in the “input window” and then click on the extract button you can then extract ALL the email addresses from the body of your email to use to send pro-McCain/Palin email. The “copy output” won’t work for me, but if you click inside the output window, then do ctrl-a, then ctrl-c, you’ll have all the emails in your clipboard.
What I need is a good, short, hard-hitting but respectful email to send to these email addresses. Anyone have any ideas or examples?
Yes, it sounds like spam, but faced with a MSM that refuses any semblance of objectivity, it could prove a useful method to get out information that they don’t want the general population to see, at a time when it can have the greatest impact.
Are you an Oregonian?
I am here in mind and spirit! (and with lots of Prayers going up!
There are a few anti-McCain “protest” voters on here that are going to vote for Bob Barr or Ron Paul, stating that the only way to fix the GOP is to lose big.
I am willing to purchase 2X4’s to knock some sense into them if it will help.

Good question. One influence may be our many fine yet liberal universities and that a number their graduates choose to stay here.

I thought this might be appropriate at this time:
