Yes, an attempt at a hit piece. Twenty five years ago as a nation we would be lauding Palin as a godly woman, now AP writes derisively about this.

That means it’s above Obama’s pay grade.

They can sneer at religious voters all they want. But Obama doesn't have them. On all three issues: abortion, marriage and embryonic stem cell research, the Democrats are far to the Left of people of faith.

It was an ATTEMPTED hit piece.

Sarah’s just the “line in the sand”, choose your side.

2 Cor 2:15-16
15 God considers us to be the sweet smell that Christ is spreading among people who are being saved and people who are dying. 16 To the one, we are the smell of death. To the other, we are the perfume of life. Who is able to do that work?

but McCain doesn't support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research.

That is misleading. On the first two, McCain supports the federalist approach, i.e., let the states decide. On abortion, therefore, that would mean overturning Roe v. Wade. I agree. That is the constitutional, federalist issue.

If, after that, there becomes a desire for a constitutional amendment nationalizing the issue and banning abortion in all states--well, then go about the amendment process. But the necessary and much more achievable first step is overturning RvW and returning the matter to the states.

The embryonic stem cell issue may have been resolved. ESC’s can be obtained from hair samples now.

They keep spinning that big lie. The DNC/media must be in panic mode.

The governator is right! Not just about this election—but about EVERYTHING in life. GOD is in control.

There’s a part of me who would like to be a fly on the wall
when these unGodly liberals stand face to face with God someday. Let them ‘attempt a hit piece’ with the Almighty—I don’t think it will work any better than this typical AP garbage! LOL.

Where are our feminist public scholars?

Whenever Republican presidential candidate John McCain is asked about Sarah Palin, he begins his comments with something like, "I'm so proud of her." As if she's his middle school daughter, who just avoided a D in math or something? How patronizing; a very public mode of speech straight out of the "women as perpetual children" mode of discourse.

Can anyone imagine any presidential candidate saying of a male vice presidential running mate, "I'm so proud of him"?

Nothing wrong with her saying that, at all! I find great strength in that statement.

I’m with you, Sarah. This campaign started hard, just about the morning after the midterm elections, and ramped up from there over the last two years. In two weeks, I want McCain and Palin to win (please, God!). I want the GOP to kick butt and take names up and down the ticket (pretty please, God, with whipped cream and peanuts on top!). But most of all...please, God, make it STOP!
