DENVER Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin describes herself as a "hard-core pro-lifer" and expresses confidence that in spite of disheartening polls, "putting this in God's hands, that the right thing for America will be done at the end of the day on Nov. 4."
In an interview with evangelical leader James Dobson that aired Wednesday, Palin said she thought Republican presidential candidate John McCain would implement the GOP platform if elected "I do, from the bottom of my heart" but McCain doesn't support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research.

The interview is great.
That means it’s above Obama’s pay grade.

It was an ATTEMPTED hit piece.
Sarah’s just the “line in the sand”, choose your side.
2 Cor 2:15-16
15 God considers us to be the sweet smell that Christ is spreading among people who are being saved and people who are dying. 16 To the one, we are the smell of death. To the other, we are the perfume of life. Who is able to do that work?
Pray for Mercy on our nation.
Join us in a prayer of intercession tonight 7-8pm CST.
I know you’re new, but did you forget the sarcasm tag?
It would be nice too, if the American media would actually become familiar enough with Christianity that terms like “intercessor” and “prayer warrior” weren’t considered out of the norm. Nor are they exclusively pentencostal.
“..but McCain doesn’t support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research.”
What? Where did they get this? What are they smokin?
I’d like to see the AP try and prove that Sarah Palin is absolutely wrong.
Sarah gets it
AP and Yahoo, the the Communist Democrat Party, are servants of satan.
That was my reaction as well. Huh?
That is misleading. On the first two, McCain supports the federalist approach, i.e., let the states decide. On abortion, therefore, that would mean overturning Roe v. Wade. I agree. That is the constitutional, federalist issue.
If, after that, there becomes a desire for a constitutional amendment nationalizing the issue and banning abortion in all states--well, then go about the amendment process. But the necessary and much more achievable first step is overturning RvW and returning the matter to the states.
Unfortunately, that will never happen. Jesus warned us that we would be prosecuted in His name and boy, was He right!
You betcha it is in God’s hands, Sarah. I have been praying the rosary for you every day!
