DENVER Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin describes herself as a "hard-core pro-lifer" and expresses confidence that in spite of disheartening polls, "putting this in God's hands, that the right thing for America will be done at the end of the day on Nov. 4."
In an interview with evangelical leader James Dobson that aired Wednesday, Palin said she thought Republican presidential candidate John McCain would implement the GOP platform if elected "I do, from the bottom of my heart" but McCain doesn't support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research.

/sarcasm
The embryonic stem cell issue may have been resolved. ESC’s can be obtained from hair samples now.

Oh no, not the G word.
The governator is right! Not just about this election—but about EVERYTHING in life. GOD is in control.
There’s a part of me who would like to be a fly on the wall
when these unGodly liberals stand face to face with God someday. Let them ‘attempt a hit piece’ with the Almighty—I don’t think it will work any better than this typical AP garbage! LOL.
Whenever Republican presidential candidate John McCain is asked about Sarah Palin, he begins his comments with something like, "I'm so proud of her." As if she's his middle school daughter, who just avoided a D in math or something? How patronizing; a very public mode of speech straight out of the "women as perpetual children" mode of discourse.
Can anyone imagine any presidential candidate saying of a male vice presidential running mate, "I'm so proud of him"?
Nothing wrong with her saying that, at all! I find great strength in that statement.
I’m with you, Sarah. This campaign started hard, just about the morning after the midterm elections, and ramped up from there over the last two years. In two weeks, I want McCain and Palin to win (please, God!). I want the GOP to kick butt and take names up and down the ticket (pretty please, God, with whipped cream and peanuts on top!). But most of all...please, God, make it STOP!
Here’s the best strategy, IMHO:
Get a majority on the USSC.
Overturn R v W.
Let the states pass their restriction laws.
Work state to state until you get 3/4.
THEN go for the amendment.
..just for you big guy
Figures those a55@s over t’ap/yahoo would screw this up. She was stating her conviction regarding the contest. The Lord does not mess with human volition. It is the primary reason we are on this planet.
ruefully
As if that’s what the issue is about - don’t be naive...
(sorry if I’m harsh)
The ESC issue is about removing all moral value from the human embryo. It’s not about anything else.
8pm my time. Will be there =).
I like her more and more every day!
I believe God already knows the outcome of the election.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
There is no “pretty please” here - “humble themselves”
Notice that it’s Christians that must do this, not the pagans amongst us in the land.
"...we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave."I respect and praise Palin for being willing to state such truths openly and without fear.
If we work hard, have faith, rally others to our cause, teach truth, and remain committed, God can and will bless our efforts and help us.
