"Meet the Press" interim moderator Tom Brokaw sits on the board of a liberal foundation that has given radical left-wing group ACORN $821,000 and that in turn is funded by liberal uber-donor George Soros, research reveals.
Conservatives have long considered Brokaw's political views to be somewhere on the left, but these revelations raise new questions about the former NBC News anchor's objectivity.

Brokaw sits on the board of the Robin Hood Foundation, a charity that, according to its website, targets poverty in New York City by applying “sound investment principles to philanthropy.” The foundation awarded ACORN a $456,000 grant in 2003 and a $365,000 grant in 2004. Brokaw does not appear to have played a role in the grants because he didn’t become a member of the board until 2005 according to the guidestar.org database, but these are nevertheless the left-wing circles in which he travels.

Now come on, this isn’t fair reporting...
You think Sossel or OReilly will ever moderate a debate?
WOW! No wonder he was such a louzy moderator who chose the dumb questions to be asked at the debate.
bttt
Well...isn’t THAT special..
Tom Brokaw is listed as a supporter of that far left organization.
Brokaw is another media "impartial" FAKE.
Move along now, nothing to see here.
Seriously, something is at play here. This guy has been treated with kid gloves by the media since he announced his candidacy. Even the Clintons, with their connections in the media and on the left, had an uphill fight in the press.
I mean, it’s more than just the prospect of the first black president, right? If anything, it looks like an attempt to bum rush the electorate with a radical left wing presidential candidate under the guise of electing the first black pres.
I’ve yet to see a “mainstream” journalist really go after Obama. The time that he was in college and law school seems undocumented. Then he’s in the state senate and that’s all we know. With all of the shady and extreme figures in his life, there would seem to be the fodder for a well done expose.
Sooner or later the truth will come out about the media fluff job done on Obama this election cycle. Now, if McCain can beat Obama in this environment, then I think someone just wasted a bunch of their cash.
Only for the stupid and terminally naive amongst us.
Robin Foundation what a name. Spread the wealth by stealing from the tax payer and giving to the non-tax payer.
Now Joe biden and Barack Hussein say that’s a patriotic thing to di!
Tom Brokejaw, “I think I was like 8 years old when that money was donated ... sound about right?”
Are you kidding. No democrat would let them near the lectern. They won’t even let Bret Hume ask questions and they blocked FOX being part of a Democratic debate sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus. The MSM would back them to the hilt if some how the bipartisan group that hosts the debate ever managed to select anyone other than an approved liberal.
Why is the public tolerating the selection of liberals only for Presidential debates. This is a scandal. Their choice of issues and the phrasing of questions is obviously biased. The last guy prefaced a question on the necessary cutting of programs with the statement that both Obama and MCCain’s proposed programs would cost billions in new taxes. Obama’s programs obviously outcost McCain’s. The way the question was phrased precluded McCain from making that point.
People should be outraged and flooding the debate committee with complaints.

More, more!
I mentioned several years ago that you don’t need a moderator. Give each candidate two minute slots and let them take turns saying what they want to.
ping
Robin Hood Foundation?????
Wow, truth really is stranger than fiction.
