I couldn’t agree more. I bought one new in ‘79. Had it for 12 months. It was in the garage 13 times.

Good morning to you. (((HUGS))) to both of you.
We had over two inches of rain yesterday.
We have been dry for months. Thank God our prayers were answered.

Yeah, I had a 5 year loan on the thing and couldn't afford to get another truck any earlier than 9 years.

PS: gotta love your Governor, she is right there is a special kinship between Alaska and NH with the tax structures and the love of the outdoors.
Have a good day.

Renault Alliance. I think Renault is French for "crap with four wheels". Bad memories.

Worst Car was my first car: 1977 VW Rabbit, w/ fuel injection. The floor board had rusted out under both the driver (real bad) and the passenger (just a little hole). I could see the road under my feet as I drove, and would drop "smoke grenades" down the hole at night (teenage years). That was fun until I missed the hole as I drove and the whole car filled with smoke real fast at 3AM and had to pull over and open both doors and the hatchback to let the smoke billow out. I had to explain what I did to the cop when they passed by, he almost fell over from laughter, didn't get a ticket.
Worst motorcycle was my 1979 AMF Harley XLS Sportster -- I carried two saddlebags of spare parts and tools. It truly lived up to the old Harley adage, "It ain't a Harley if it doesn't leak." I've heard they're better now, but I can't afford to take the risk again.

If it’s any consolation, it’s much better now in Iraq than ever in the past. I just got back from Southern Baghdad (Rashid District), and it’s getting better. We saw a lot of activity decrease after the “March Madness”, and it’s remained low throughout the summer. The locals are really stepping up (the permanent solution vice the surge - a temporary solution) and taking charge of their own country. May G-d bless you and your husband, and our family will add him to our nightly prayers with my buddies who are still there.
