Exactly! I just sent my second text ever (the first was for Palin in her debate)...Now I’m not over the hill by any means, but I’m also not a “kid” either!!
I just read up on Krauthammer at Wikipedia. I hadn’t realized that after he left his medical practice, he moved into a position with the Carter Administration. He also worked as Walter Mondale’s speech writer during that campaign. He’s described as a conservative on foreign policy, but a liberal on domestic policies. He very pro-abortion and embryonic stem-cell research, yet against the death penalty. He sounds like he basically shares the same positions as Joe Lieberman, which to me makes him more of a liberal than anything else.
Do you really think there are any truly undecideds out there now and how hard would it be to lie? To have these groups decide the winner is a complete farce.
Who you going to believe, a person who can’t decide or your lying eyes?

The lies spilling from the almost balckman squirrel were numerous. I want some fool to explain to me how when clinton left office there were budget surpluses with a 5 trillion doallar deficit? I mean, if I over draw my checking account each month and start each month with more and more credit debt, unless my income exceeds my debt load how in hell can the squirrelman call that a budget surplus? And democrats get awaya with that lie every time they spew it!

Dick Morris making good sense - Joe the Plumber, tax increases. Acknowledges that the Luntz group can’t be disregarded but this isn’t over. Thinks McCain was fabulous tonight. Tonight was not a game changer but lays the basis for a McCain victory. Tax issue is very big!!!
This was of interest to me when you said: I’d guess that there was a *bit* more to that conversation than just that, and Ailes came away with the understanding that if FOX didn’t back off and Obama still won there would be retaliation. Like yanking White House press creds.
Now THIS gives credibility to the story going around yesterday about how Michelle Obama yelled at a black news organization — was that API (African Press International... or something like that), yelling at them for mistreating her black husband whom they should support since they were black and that if they were to treat him better, they would find themselves in a MUCH better position next year when her husband was president. (I suppose the opposite being referred to there.)

Yeah, but that still doesn’t mean I’m voting for HIM. She’s the only bright spot in his campaign - other than the debate this evening. After all, he did score some great points.
But if he benefits from my vote for her, then so be it.
