The Fox people don’t like McCain. Nina Easton’s husband worked on Romney’s campaign so she has never said anything nice about him.
Fred has never particularly liked him but I’m surprised since Fred is a big government conservative.
Charles K is brilliant, but still part of the east coast elite. He doesn’t understand why McCain appealed to people tonight. So for tonight, at least, Fox isn’t going to give us what we want.
People WANT to vote for McCain, but they just needed to see someone who acted like he wanted the gig. He did exactly that.
Fox knows what side its bread is buttered on. They’ll come back around.
Crossing fingers till the Lidge inning. It do look good.
“Id gladly take another 4 years of Bubba than this F*^*& communist.
Well, sure. Bubba was (ultimately) an EXPERIENCED politician, which means that you can always get him to act against his principles if you can make him see that his power might otherwise be jeopardized (like in ‘92 when Congress went to the Republicans). An inexperienced political hack like 0bama doesn’t know when he should throw his Marxist views over the railing and just play ball - so he’s inherently more dangerous to himself AND the rest of the country.
You are soooo. correct!
Edward Said (rip)
Wright
Rezko
Ayers
O
Khalidi
Dohrn (Ayers wife, still more militant than hubby)
Farrakhan
Frank Marshall Davis (communist, newspaper guy, hawaii via Chicago, broke O in at 10, gave him whiskey, etc.)
There’s many more.
Depends on the age. Don’t tell me I’m wrong. I was the one writing the premium checks.
I just called into Malzberg and was on the air.
I told him that McCain could have levitated and the MSM would not have given him credit.
Fox is officially part of the MSM. I hope they are happy with themselves.
Keep O’Reilly, keep Jerry Rivers, I’m out!
I thought Hannity & Colmes were supposed to be on after the debate, maybe some sanity there...maybe not.
ROFL... “Senator Gubmint Cheese”!
Fauxnews is more like it.
I can’t believe the Fox News commentators have declared that Obama won the debate because he didn’t make a mistake. I wish I could read all of the comments but I sense for the first time that the snap polls will go against the pundit wisdom and declare McCain the winner.
Seriously, we are all obviously rooting for McCain but how can an independent watch that debate and declare Obama the winner.
Maybe I am clueless, I don’t know, I thought it was a superb performance by McCain.
Does anybody know any snap poll results, I know McCain is leading in the AOL poll via Drudge.
More CNN bs polling right now.
Luntz is one hell of a liar! He say's everytime, "Obama won!"
Less than half the people raised their hands and yet Luntz said, "This was clearly a good night for Obama!"
I tell ya, I'd like to take his little dial and shove it to tomorrow and then back again!
The Evans-Novak Report (Oct. 15) is absolutely devastating to all Republicans, including E. Dole, a likely loser now in NC. So the old Helms seat will finally return to its historic Democrat roots. There is virtually no good news in the report except for the FL House seat now in the news held by a Democrat named Mahoney.
RE: “Come on....pundits on all the channels spend their lives staring at their navels trying to figure out where the lint came from.
They’re ALL Washington insiders and not worthy of the faith and import we give them..
You watched the debate...you know what you heard. You know what you believe. -—— Vote based on YOU! Screw the pundits!”
Absolutely! I turned off the TV (ABC) when Steponallofus and Sawyer took over after the debate. No way will I let any of these clowns color what I saw and heard.
I think McCain kicked bambi’s ASS tonight — no question about it. Perfect? It’s never perfect, but there were numerous times I yelped “whoa!” or “good one!” or “nailed him!”
I think that moderator, Schieffer (sp?) was p*ssing himself a few times, I really do. He just wanted to keep that dialogue moving on and skip over the “good” stuff.
In my book, John did a fine job tonight. Kudos!
McCain gives a very strong performance. MSM universally agrees Obambi is the winner. Polls will be manufactured by tomorrow morning showing him with a huge surge to cement that impression in voters' minds.
I am still praying for a miracle, but it sure looks like the MSM is going to win this one.
This very disappointing commentary from Fox belies some fundamental points that McCain raised tonight. He ignited the Pro-Life, Christian base tonight with his responses on abortion and the Supreme Court. He was very clear, in spite of Fox’s commentary.
We will see the flyers in the churches the weekend before the election and McCain clearly stated he is the ProLife candidate and Obama is not only Pro-Abortion, but Pro-Partial Birth Abortion. McCain did very well.
We need to take heart, our candidate did very well and gave plenty of fodder for our media - talk radio and the internet to take this campaign over the finish line!
Cindy wore her “Nancy Reagan” red tonight! ;)
