Obama purchases half hour of primetime on CBS, also in talks with FOX, NBC... DEVELOPING...
“30 sec of Prime Time Commercial:
$300,000 to $400,000
X 30 min = $36 Million to $48 Million”
I see you flunked math.
The formula is the minutes of commercials per half hour times the hourly commercial rate.

The way you talk, I doubt your testicles have even dropped.
I am afraid it may be hard to convince people Obama, ACORN, Ayers, Soros set this up. It was planned before Obama filed the first CRA lawsuit against Citicorp over mortgages with ACORN. Fannie & Freddie were an integral part.
His coming on TV to reassure us is just more evidence this was a set up. The chicken littles posting here are not helping matters. The conspiracy is so tangled that the avg person will never believe it.

$300,000 to $400,000 X 30 min = $36 Million to $48 Million
It doesn't quite work like that. Consider that the average half-hour show runs 22 minutes. That means 8 commercial minutes to pay for it. Thus, 350K x 8 x 2 = $5.6 million.
A tidy sum, no? Not earthshaking and no problem for Mr. 486 Million in 'contributions', but also not $50 million as you suggested.
Obama is closing the deal this time.
He knows that McCain is comming back so now he is going to kick him while he is down.
I wanna see John McCain in hot passion right after the Obaminable Snow Jobber concludes. So I'm going to send in a few more bucks to help the McPalin team buy the time.

One respite was found in a wing of Mercer Island High called "anarchy alley." Jim Wichterman taught a wide-open philosophy course that included Karl Marx. Next door, Val Foubert taught a rigorous dose of literature, including Margaret Mead's writings on homosexuality.
Those classes prompted what Wichterman, now 80 and retired in Ellensburg, called "mothers' marches" of parents outraged at the curriculum.
Dunham thrived in the environment, Wichterman said.
"As much as a high-school student can, she'd question anything: What's so good about democracy? What's so good about capitalism? What's wrong with communism? What's good about communism?" Wichterman said. "She had what I call an inquiring mind."
She also showed her politics, wearing a campaign button for Adlai Stevenson. And despite flirting with atheism, she went to services at East Shore Unitarian church, a left-leaning congregation in Bellevue.
Who will watch the 30 minute BS......no one I know....
“. . . done before?”
I remember them. Humphrey, Nixon, etc., a half hour that seemed like an eternity. Think about it. Obama trying to hold your interest for 30 minutes. I doubt anyone’s mind was changed by them.
no it’s called scared to death...
I hope he is paying a pretty penny - I seem to remember this coming up before: Are the networks obligated to charge him their usual ad rates, i.e., not make him a sweetheart deal to the detriment of the McCain campaign? Otherwise, donating cheap time should be considered a contribution.
Good thing. We’re gonna need em to keep our feet warm this winter because we can’t pay to heat our houses.
I thought that the RNC pulled in a record amount of cash in both August and September. Is McCain waiting for the last minute to flood the airwaves?
Markets are crashing in anticipation of his Presidency.
I bought into the markets today. Maybe that wasnt so smart.
Rank & file ‘rat supporters, not the fringe,
will deny to their graves that ‘rats are socialists.
I’m afraid they would rather go into a cognitive dissonance induced coma rather than admit it.
