Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
With all due respect and think Gwen Ifill did well.
when Sarah speaks, its easy to follow.
When Biden speaks it sounds like the blah blah blah from the Charlie Brown cartoons.
I dont think a lot of people even hear what he says
*******
You have put the whole debate in your outline. I cannot follow that man. For the sake of my brain, I have to go to a mental “mute” button when he is talking.
The strategy she is using is connecting with the middle class Joe sixpack. You are not Joe, she has your vote.
She finally invoked REAGAN.
GO PALIN. GO PALIN. GO PALIN.
EXCELLENT CLOSE.
“I like to talk to the American people without the filter of the mainstream media....” WHOOHOO!!!!!!!
It took her a while to get rolling but she got rolling like thunder.
Ifil has a preference in this race? I can not belive a member of the media would have bias (eyes rolling).
LLS
wow. I FINALLY got on the thread and now it’s done. I tried for the whole 90 minutes..
What’s UP with that...
So my 2cents...
GO Palin. I think she hit a home run!!! No doubt...I’m also sure the MSM will have a different view as mine tomorrow morn.
I wish I had a kitchen table. I only have a dining room and have always wanted a eat in kitchen. I don’t have kitchen table issues, I have dining room issues.
It’s being held until after Congress approves the bailout. If McCain/Palin attacked with this now, the Dims would scuttle the bailout (claiming the partisan attacks are what caused bailout’s failure). The MSM would parrot the Dims’ claim and would blame McCain for every downdraft in the market from now until election day.
Do you mean when he sort of gulped and paused during his “I know what it’s like” monologue? I seriously thought he was having an aneurysm.
He ain't looking at Biden!
Sorry for the double and triple posts. FR isn’t working good here and I have to refresh the screen to get the post to go through. If it’s coming through more than once then I ask the moderator to delete the duplicate posts.

I also think she’s done well tonight. I was saying to co-workers today that she should approach this much like a second date (with America) and we would all be smitten again.
d paste. Not knowing what Bosniac means isn’t ignorance.
Joe Biden is apparently looking for help.
Better if he was looking for work, but its a start...
Sarah has PWNED him several times -- two or three were so egregious that even my teenagers got it.
1) Calling him out on saying he'd be proud to serve with McCain.
2) Calling him out on how his pro-war positions changed to anti-war when he joined the ticket, and openly calling the pundits to pull out the videotape proving he was lying.
3) Counter-striking on his claim that our top general in Afghanistan ("and let me repeat this") said the surge strategy didn't work. He was counting on Palin (the hayseed) not being up on events because she didn't read the New York Times. She called him out mentioning the General by name and paraphrasing what he said.
And her calling him out on "looking back at the past" instead of looking toward the future;
...and his promising clean coal for China (how's *that* going to make jobs in America)?
And her closing statement brought back vivid memories of "God DAMN America!". It's far stronger when she lets others connect the obvious dots for her.
Nice try, though.
Cheers!
I think Sarah had a tremendous handicap to overcome, and that was having to defend John McCain. Her defense of McCain sounded forced to me, but then again, I can’t blame her for that.
Watching on TV, she was spanking him from the beginning.
