I watched the debate without reading the threads.. I thought he was taking her to task. He can easily lie and spin and she just doesn’t have the tools to put him in his place.
Ifill has been horrible though.. Out of the 15 topics or so, Biden has had the last word on 11 or 12 of them. I hope that’s talked about in the post debate coverage.
She’s been okay, but I wouldn’t go so far as saying great.
Wow, what a shock, Joe gets the final word again.

She has been fanny smacking him...with a smile on her face. Damn, I want my own Sarah Palin. Todd is one lucky fella.

I’m still waiting for her to mention she was in second grade when he was elected to Congress.

I was listening to the debate on the way home from my child's soccer practice and I thought the early debate was not so much won by Biden as lost by Palin. My sense is that she was a bit off stride through about the first half hour. Over the last 45 minutes, I think she has performed at a much higher level and has put Biden off his game. Her direct challenging of Biden on his positions contrary to the top of his ticket have been effective.
I don't know if I find Palin to have been resounding in defeating Biden, but I think a good case can be made that she overall won the contest.

John Edwards eyes were blinking like a strobe light in his debate against Cheney. Those who know body language says it is a sign of a liar. That's what I thought. Notice also how he shakes his head *No* when he talks about what he and obama are going to do. I hear that that's also a sign of lying. He's telling us by body language that he doesn't really believe what he's saying.

If I'm double or triple posting I'm sorry. FR doesn't seem to be working here and I keep having to refresh the page to get the post to go through.
I apologize.

I can pretty well tell what’s happening in a debate from Freeper comments-—if 2/3s are “she’s ok . . . but” I know we’re in trouble. But when all but the noobs are saying, “She tore him a new one,” I know our girl just hammered this old coot.

Hmppph, the most dangerous vice president we’ve ever had is obviously Aaron Burr, as Alexander Hamilton found out.

Biden has been much better at attacking McCain than Palin has been at attacking Obama-Biden. I agree.
I think that McCain-Palin shouldn't be so afraid to go with strong, fair, above-the-belt attacks.

Please...most people reading Drudge are right wingers like us. I think most of you are being very biased. This is at best a draw. Of course he is banging Bush over and over. That is what will get them elected. McCain=Bush=McCain. He is doing that. Palin has missed several opportunities...one of which was pointing out osama’s misrep of Kisinger’s stance on talks with Iran. She had a perfect opportunity to slam them...and she missed it. She had a chance with global warming...and missed that too.
