Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
My hubby just said “That’s the problem. I hate Scranton.”
Sarah’s really getting into it now. The first couple answers were just “McCain this, McCain that” blah blah but she’s loosened up and showing some emotion and conviction. Nice.

Biden says that under Obamas plan, taxes will be the same as under Reagan. Under Reagan income taxes were about 70% when he cam in for the rich. Reagan was able to reduce them to under 40%. Then the economy picked up.
But, 40% tax rate is an increase from where we are today.
What matters right now is how this will be spinned. The overall appearance and demeanor of the two vp candidates will be judged by the public, not the details of the debate. Only if someone says something that’s flat out wrong will it matter.
I disagree, Gov. Palin has seemed nervous (who wouldn’t) and occasionally left out words in her sentences...
Though she has been hitting it out of the park since she referenced “her and Todd” and how the middle class doesn’t call paying higher taxes patriotic.

“We don’t care it redistribution where I come from...” Note his argument isn’t that it isn’t redistribution...it’s just that he doesn’t call it redistribution. Kinda like calling the bailout a RESCUE plan.
