If you knew the timeline, you wouldn’t call it bullcrap.

Have a nice afternoon. I hope the raincloud hovering just above your head eventually goes away.

Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, UBS, HSBC, etc. are all demanding that the US buy up their worthless mortgage-backed securities as part of the bailout.

"Fair enough, but has Obama?"

Not only has Obama come out for the bailout, but he's trying to claim he was instrumental in the improved version, trying to take credit!

"I’ve seen this side by side comparision several times, and have even e-mailed Blount’s office for verification. I want some surety that this is truly from Blount’s office."

Why bother? even if it's true, this bill is a travesty. We got nothing from these changes that aren't simply throw away items that were never meant to remain in. Any good negotiator places such items in at the beginning and then gives them up in the name of "compromise".

Assuming everything in this comparison is true, the bill still should not be passed into law, this is BS.

The problem is that the media has such a vested interest in a progressive ascendancy that the Dems get away with it.

Just like any other fraud, this one can't last indefinitely without a heavy price to pay by the perpetrator. We'll see...

I’d rather not compromise my principal and not lose an election.

Losing the election and compromising principals are not acceptable.

CASE CLOSED.

“I do not understand this. If the majority of the American people are against this bailout and the republicans are against this bail out, why is McCain dropping in the polls?”

you are thinking too logically. ;-)

the Rats and the MSM are framing things more effectively than the repubs are.

No one is really out front for us, calling them out on it, making all the valid points that people in this thread are making.
No one is out there nailing the dems on Fanny and freddy. No one is out there blasitng the Rats and telling the public they can pass it right now w/o the Repubs if they wanted to.
No one is calling her out for her BS that House Repubs are being unpatriotic.

No one is opening their mouth to nullify what Nazi Pelosi is shrieking. Maybe sarah can blow them out of the water thursday...

I've tried to address the scope of the current crisis. I'm afraid this one was so well entrenched, we the people will not recover from it under a Republic form of governance because we've long ago abdicated our sovereignty by ignoring our responsibilities.

After all the celebratory cr@p of last night and this morning, nothing would please me more than if the GOP pulled the rug out from under the Democrat leadership who are ultimately responsible for this whole mess.Agreed. Reid was grinning like a Cheshire Cat this morning. I'd like to see that grin removed.

Thank you for this terrific update. I just called McCotter’s office at the number listed, got through on the first ring, thanked them for their hard work and encouraged them to hold the line.

>>>How about we keep to the subject instead of trying to misdirect the thread?

Hmm, I didn’t post this: >>>Where is McCain? <<< The freeper who started the thread did. So comments concerning McC’s where abouts were welcomed.

>>>McC who went to Washington and forced the dimRAts of the Senate to include the House Republicans in the process.

The White House released a statement stating President Bush called McC and Obama to the White House.

>>>National Council of LaRaza.

LaRaza endorsed the original plan. So they are tied to this bailout topic. Nope can’t say that is off topic. It is not.

If YOU, maine-iac7 think it is off topic, you may want to familiarize yourself with McC’s co-chair of Campaign Finance, A. Jerrold Perenchio. ;)

McCain gets credit for shining the light of day on a 200 billon to 300 billion revolutionary grass roots comunity organizer fund, designed to finance the National Socialist Party ( formerly the Dem party) brainwashing programs for Obamas black shirts( like the one in Massachussetts)etc.
Thats what McCain gets credit for. He put a temporary stopper to it. Thats why we have the cover up spin, the truth again is being disguised. Fascism is now on the march in America.

REMEMBER: Harry Reid: “ McCain stay away from Wshington, we don’t need presidential politics interjected into this issue”, as Reid had his slimy fingers around the slush fund proposal, taking advantage of Paulsons panic caused by China pressure etc.

All McCain had to do was walk in the cabinet room door. He said nothing. Obama was given the floor to justify the slush fund to all present, and all he did was polarize the meeting, which is what Obama will do to ALL of America.Obama could not justify the slush fund. So the fascist economic putsch was only patially successful.

Reid,Franks,Pelosi,Obama,Dodd and all these National Socialist Fascists should be jailed for life, or taken out and shot for their treason on America. These are not Democrats. NOT DEMOCRATS. They are fascists.

Read Jonah Goldbergs new book:

“American Fascism:The Secret History of America’s Left,From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning.”

The book clearly defines exactly who these sick men are, and what their agenda is.

This bailout, even without the slush fund, is the dedication of a free market economy to affirmative action financing, instead of profit.Make no mistake about it.In bailing these instutions out, we forward their affirmative action financing agenda.

The Fascist Nationalist Socialist Agenda is now bared to the public, for ALL to see.

The question is how to tell the public?

NO BAILOUT!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the new world order. It’s been in place for some years now, even decades. It stinks to high heaven, but it’s a reality.

Then stopping the bailout is a great opportunity to demolish it and let the globalists walk away empty handed.

The Republicans in the House are out in force against this. Problem is the msm won’t cover it, you have to guess when they are before the c-span camera to catch it. I caught them last night about 10 pm and today from 1-1:30. They are not being allowed to participate and even said they have been kick out of meetings they have tried to enter.

A bailout bill is a spending bill.

I understand that, why this measure is not Constitutionally-required to have originated in the House.

I agree with the emotions involved, I am less inclined to see this as corporate welfare in as much as it (the current crisis) was created by failed government regulations. It appears that Main Street cannot fix this due to the shear size of the problem. Allowing systemic failure and curredcy collapse seems to me to be the wrong choice. Get the best deal possible, avoid the merde like ACORN monies and then elect a GOP majority to fix the assinine regulations that caused this.

I went by the normal group of war protesters that leech around downtown today, and one sign said,

NO WALL STREET BAILOUT! BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW!

Now this had me scratching my head, they must support Dems and Reps?
