and the family members of the above.
Honoring those who have served before.

As the rain cleared, and the sun began to rise, Key peered through the lifting darkness anxious to see if the flag they had seen the night before was still flying. And so it was that he scribbled on the back of an envelope the first lines of a poem he called Defense of Fort M'Henry

LOL! You are just a critter magnet. So you have a baby lizard in your office now? He can eat bugs.

Some stuff stays the same like caustics but there is a constant stream of new drugs and new house hold products and industrial products.

Whole classes of drugs come and go.

It’s the waiting that gets ya..I sent you a freepmail earlier. Power outages keep one from communicating..and even cellphone traffic causes delays getting information..I believe our families may get trees down, perhaps roof damage but not the bad flooding those in lowlying areas and coastal communities get..Houston always floods..the canals overflow and some areas are lowlying.

I have every site possible bookmarked to get the latest information..
Prayers for all in harms way.

Good evening, Taz...((HUGS))...stompings don’t happen every day, but kids have a tendency to want to get close, unfortunately, usually, to annoy the moose. Gonna go see if I can find anything about it.

I just caught a segment on the Weather Channel that showed rain from Ike reaching us both (Connie and I) by Saturday afternoon/evening.

We have rain from a Baja hurricane right now.

I’ll take that water just about any way we can get it.

The good news is we don’t get much wind this far inland.

Okay, I’m beat. It was a long night last night, and I’m still not recoverd.

See ya!

Oh my goodness.....so far reaching. Florida has been getting rain from Ike, and now Arizona too.

How is your rock garden coming along?

My brother? No...he’s at his step-son’s house in northern Harris county. We are too far away. He’ll want to get back to the house as quickly as possible afterwards. He sure is scared.....asked for prayers.
