As the rain cleared, and the sun began to rise, Key peered through the lifting darkness anxious to see if the flag they had seen the night before was still flying. And so it was that he scribbled on the back of an envelope the first lines of a poem he called Defense of Fort M'Henry

By the way, it's funny that you mentioned "Obama Nation".

By coincidence, I just read a book called "My French Whore".

But the titles are where the similarities end.
"MFW" is actually a love story set in WWI, written by Gene Wilder (of Young Frankenstein fame).
It was in the wrong place in the library and I happened upon it. Saw the title, the author, the quote from Mel Brooks. Sold! (or borrowed, at any rate).

I’m doing well enough.

I’ve been merciless with my studies and plowed through a major amount of stuff.

I’m feeling better about the test now.

I'm betting “Goldfrank's Toxicological Emergencies” isn't on the list.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I at least feel like I've whittled it down to a manageable size now.

No...I had to clean stuff...plus I watched some 9-11 video.

CBS’s “9-11”...which is one of the best documentaries of
that day. I just needed to!

Thanks for the prayers. He was asking for them. I’ll let
you all know whenever I get phone calls.

I wonder how EGS is. I worry about him, too!

Toxicology certification exam.

It’s a national test and I have to recert every 7 years.

I saw something earlier this week about a 11 yr old getting Moose stomped up in your environs.

The little thing was black and blue but she survived it.

Sounds difficult. Is there that much change in the field to require recert?
