PALIN FAMILY SHOCKERS: WHAT SARAH'S REALLY HIDING! (National Enquirer strikes)
National Enquirer ^ | Sept 10, 2008 | Staff

Posted on 09/10/2008 3:35:50 AM PDT by tlb

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it. And as Track, 19, heads to Iraq as part of the U.S. armed forces, Sarah and her husband Todd were powerless to stop his wild antics.

THE ENQUIRER also has exclusive details about Track's use of other drugs, including cocaine, and his involvement in a notorious local vandalism incident.

“I’ve partied with him (Track) for years,” a source disclosed. “I’ve seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed.”

The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he’d use his local celebrity to manipulate other guys “to get them to steal things he wanted.”

“He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do,” the source divulged. “You join the military.”

Another family friend revealed pre-prego Bristol was as much of a hard partier as Track was.

“Bristol was a huge stoner and drinker. I’ve seen her smoke pot and get drunk and make out with so many guys. All the guys would brag that the just made out with Bristol.”

And the ENQUIRER also learned that Levi Johnston, the baby mamma’s future wedded dada, who was glad handed by John McCain at the GOP Convention, isn’t too happy about his impending shotgun nups either.

Meanwhile, as members of the Palin family’s war viciously over “Trooper-Gate” and claims of Sarah’s extramarital affair have turned the political race into a chaotic arena of threats, denials and vicious attacks by political black ops, The ENQUIRER has discovered shocking new details about the red-hot affair scandal!

Next thing you know some low-life will accuse Palin of doing crack and having gay sex with a stranger...or maybe even murder.

Give a kid beer and ask him for stories, and you’ll get stories. Lots of stories.

Uhh, give a kid a beer and a fist full of money and ask him for stories, and you'll get stories, lots of BS lying rat stories. Any kind of stories you want and pay for.

This is tripe. Ronald Reagan’s son was horrible and most likely did heavy drugs and it did not affect his presidency. Sarah’s son probably did the rebel things as all kids do.
The issue that scares me is the cheating that Sarah did in her marriage. If that turns out true, then we are in trouble.
Before Edwards admitted it, I did not believe that story either.

Obviously written by somebody with a 1970's conceptof the Army. The fact is, you cannot get in if there there is a hint of drug abuse in your past. I'm speaking from family experience.

TAke a nap and relax. It's BS like all the other smears. We're not in trouble, Sarah's not in trouble, McCain's not in trouble--the enemedia OTOH is in deep, deep trouble.

So what?

My son, who is now 19 and out on his own with his own place and a great job, got mixed up on drugs when he was 16 and even brought some pot into my house with the intent of packaging it and selling it. I raised him right and did everything I could to insure he stayed on the straight and narrow.

He learned his lesson after some tough love and straightened himself out. My Wife and I don’t consider ourselves a failure for what happened and I’m quite sure Sarah and her Husband doesn’t either.

I realize the Enquirer is in the business of selling papers, but stories like these are trash and reflect poorly upon those who publish them.

“...Maybe it was just banana peels he was smokin?...”

You are showing your age. ;-)

Kids never lie about kids, right? I mean, if they are jealous or envious of their peers, they would never, ever make stuff up.

This article is pathetic!

A source? No names? In campaigning, everything is timing. This might have worked later, but now, nope.

Yes about the timing! I was wondering why they would use their BS now when it can be debunked in time. Usually they save it for 3 to 4 days before the election.

Then I remembered that the NE is a Hillary tool. If she can't knock BamBam out and replace him, she has to make sure McCain wins. But that leaves her with an overpowering rival in 4 years.

Bottom line: she must start and continue the dishonest degrading of Palin just like they did to GWB, but she can't undermine the McCain campaign unless she can get BamBam dumped. The NE attacks will continue after McCain/Palin win IMO.

Before she was selected by McCain, Palin had to respond to a 70-page questionnaire covering everything about her life. I would be surprised if it did not include questions about her family including her kids. And obviously there was nothing there to keep her from being selected.

Now it's not unusual for young men and women to be rebellious and even get into trouble as teenagers. The difference is the parents and how they handle the issues. In this instance, both Track and Bristol are doing growing up. Track by going into the Army a year ago and now Bristol being exposed to national scrutiny over her actions.

Frankly, it must be very tough to be parents these days with the amount of sexual/violent content media, peer pressure and temptation out there. However, with a loving family with two responsible parents to put them back on the right track, I believe both kids will turn out just fine, though Bristol has lost the rest of her childhood. And I don't think Mom's occupation has anything to do with it, especially with a Dad there too.

I lauded the NE for breaking the Edwards' story because there's a huge difference by about a thousand orders of magnitude. Pony Boy was a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. He was caught red-handed at the hotel. The NE had on-the-scene reporters who personally witnessed the incident. They had pictures. They had several neutral eye witnesses (hotel staff and other guests) who corroborated the story, and were willing to go on the record with their full names. The MSM had known of this story for over a year and were actively complicit in covering it up.

Contrast: Sarah Palin's kids, only one of whom is not a minor, aren't running for anything. Her kids have not been caught in the act of doing any of these things the NE is alleging. There are no pictures. There are no sources who are willing to be named. There are 30 lawyers, and probably 10 times that many reporters, on the ground in Wasilla and Anchorage trying to dig up any piece of irrelevant minutia about Palin, her family, her friends, her associates. To say there's no complicit MSM cover-up, as was the case with Edwards, would be an extreme understatement.

That's why I see what the NE did to Edwards and what the NE is trying to do to Sarah Palin's children as polar opposites. At this point, I'm not sure if it's best for the McCain camp to sue the azz off the NE, or if that would just bring undue attention to this crap and would perhaps be best delayed for a few months. I'm glad it's not a decision I have to make.

HOW MUCH DID THE ENQUIRER PAY PEOPLE FOR THIS DREK-—>>

Unfortunately this will tarnish Sarah Palin’s image a bit and her family’s image too. Doesn’t bother me a bit

Al Gore’s son is a total mess. If the Enquirer investigated him it would have embarrassed Gore. But of course they didn’t

Other candidates children are also dicey propositions but never looked at by the Enquirer

Damage will be just a little and might actually help. Tons of families have similar problems.

I remember how much The Enquirer went after the Bush Twins, and they seemed to have turned out just fine. It’s called “youth.”

Well, this crap will certainly help to increase the gop ticket’s poll numbers. The base will get more fired up and those on the fence will be able to relate to her even more. A family perhaps not unlike their family. So I think it’s good that the left keeps pilling on.
