In one of the most astonishing gaffes in American political history, in a national televised interview with ABC's George Stephanopolis, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my muslim faith," confirming what so many researchers and political opponents have been claiming, and what the mainstream media has allow him to deny, until now.
While Stephanopolis several seconds later tried to correct him, saying "Christian faith," it was too late. The damage was done. Obama clearly did not mean his Christian faith, since he was admitting that "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith."

When did this happen?
I agree, but it’s duplicitousness in the sense that he doesn’t really know WHO he is himself.
I think it’s funny, because Obama really has a short-circuit of concentration in a contemporaneous setting, and we should exploit that because, frankly. you don’t get to meet with heads of state with a teleprompter in the room.
Like you said, the point here is not the content of the gaffe. It would be impossible to prove it’s a Freudian slip. What IS possible to prove, is that Obama can’t take the pressure of a simple interview .
He also could have meant he was a leftist and a Muslim.
Two, two bad things in one.
You really are too kind....
a few points you may want to review...
1)how is that a young man with meager economical background, ends up in Harvard?
2) how is that a young man can receive a Muslin schooling and not be a Muslim...converting is punishable by death..
3) who was funding his education? and trips overseas....
Just imagine in a Republican had made a supposed slip up like that. Remember Lot!!
**Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to “my muslim faith,” **
For what it’s worth.......you said it, Obamanation.
Heavens, I read somewhere in the last several days (not MSM, you can be sure) about the connections of his, so he could definitely have been funded by any of several dastardly groups or people.
There should be coverage of the Sutton tape and the letter and the guy from Texas. Sorry I can’t give you a link, but you can Google.
I believe slips of the tongue can in fact reveal true intent. Freud had something there...
Let’s not forget, Obama’s first exposure to religion was Islam, if I am not mistaken. How could that not have an impression?
. .....”.”Its not a Freudian slip. To his discredit, Obama clearly cant concentrate on the fly. Hes proven it before. i.e., Im pretty sure he knows theres only fifty states..””
Drugs will do that to the brain. Illiciit drug abuse deteriorares the cognitive skills and impairs analytical thinking.
BHO is damaged goods.
A "gaffe", is when a politician accidently tells the truth.
Look, “my Muslim faith” was not a “slip.”
It was bait. 0bama wants to bait McCain into breaking his promise to avoid criticizing/questioning 0bama’s faith.
Pshah. McCain’s ahead +10% in the polls. All that he has to do to win is stay positive (avoiding 0bama’s scandals and miscues from here on out), push new oil drilling, and stay pro-life.
The election is ours.
Thanks for that information. I never see this mentioned anywhere, but it is certainly strange. He got a total of $80,000 in advances for a book, his autobiography, based on no prior writings and no accomplishments. Hmmm...
I agree with you that the McCain campaign should not be drawn into this discussion, although I don’t think Obama should be allowed to get away with all his gaffes. You know that the press will never report them unless some effort - not by McCain directly - is made to bring them to the light.
I agree with you that it is the McCain/Palin positive message that will win this. However, I think there are going to be massive amounts of voter fraud and coercion at every level, and McCain’s campaign has got to stay aggressive and focused and prepared.
Barry is revealing himself to be such a dim bulb that I think we’re getting too relaxed. But regardless of what an idiot he is, he really wants to win this, and his whole life has been about attaining power with absolutely no accomplishments. So he is focused in that way. And the people behind him are absolutely lusting after power and will not be stopped by anything less than a giant, uncontestable win by McCain. I do think that Obama’s a Manchurian candidate, and the McCain campaign has to be extremely vigilant.
I can see how it can be seen both ways.
On one hand Obama is saying that mccain has not talked about the alegations of him being a moslem.
On the other hand Obama did make a slip.
REGARDLESS it was badly phrased.
We can’t focus n the phrase alone but the entire sentence.
We also have to realize the low ratings of sunday morning and the fact it will not go any further in the media.
For the record, I do believe he is a closet Muslim.
The week of 9/11 is a bad time for ZerO to make such a statement.
Oh, if the MSM was as kind as you are.
