In one of the most astonishing gaffes in American political history, in a national televised interview with ABC's George Stephanopolis, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my muslim faith," confirming what so many researchers and political opponents have been claiming, and what the mainstream media has allow him to deny, until now.
While Stephanopolis several seconds later tried to correct him, saying "Christian faith," it was too late. The damage was done. Obama clearly did not mean his Christian faith, since he was admitting that "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith."

His church is in cahoots with the BLACK NUSLIMS.
“then spend much of the time on that job living in Bali and writing a memoir?”
Where did he get the money to do act like one of the idle rich?
unlikley
Georgie corrected him immediately to cover his buttbuddy’s ass and Obama agreed with the quick cover offered.
Sorry, but that's you imposing your point of view on what the man actually said. Generosity is a fine quality, but not when it falls over the line to gullibility.I saw the interview, and in all fairness, what he said could be interpreted to be, John McCain hasnt talked about [what he believes is] my Muslim faith.
The way it came out it could have been an honest misspeak. The counterargument I would make to that is that if a Christian did that, and was corrected, I would certainly expect him to be startled and embarrassed at the gaffe. Whereas Obama was matter-of-fact about accepting correction.IOW, at a minimum it shows, IMHO, that Obama has never thought that being a Muslim was anything out of the way at all. Which is after all an understandable position for someone with Obama's upbringing.
Roll Over Beethoven
Combine his public contempt for the Bible with his "57 U.S. States" gaffe (there are in fact 57 Muslim countries) combined with today's "my Muslim faith" Freudian slip and the evidence is now overwhelming.
He could have meant that but why should voters need to interpret what he says. Words matter...
The Actual Truthful Accurate Facts about Obama’s muslimness will remain a mystery until he’s given some good ol’ fashioned Medieval persuasion to tell the Truth for a change.
The US Constitution doesn’t allow for that, so it won’t happen anytime soon: the world will never actually know whether it was yet another mis-speak or a true freudian slip.
Only Obama knows for sure, and he probably won’t confess even tho’ he should, to ease his conscience if for no other reason. We can therefore only speculate.
It’s a neat film clip, and fun to play with, but I don’t think it quite places him squarely in the frame as a muslim. It certainly is tantalizingly suggestive tho’.
Osama HUSSEIN Obama used the words...MY muslim faith. Not anything about my SUPPOSED muslim faith. He didn’t use the words “alleged muslim faith”...it was MY muslim faith.
You cant spin that into anything other than what he said, even with Georgie Stuffonupolis helping out.
Publisher's advances.
Upon graduating from Harvard, he got a $40,000 advance for his very first ever book -- without any previous writings whatsoever to recommend him.
He failed to produce so much as a single page.
So, the publisher advanced him yet another $40,000. Whereupon he left his seat as guest lecturer at the Univ of Chicago, went to Bali for six months...and delivered a book.
I cannot tell you how implausible the publisher's actions are in this case. "Unprecedented" would be a good word.
And the chronology of events certainly leads one to wonder who else might've been in Bali at the time. A professional ghost writer, perhaps?
The DUers are absolutely despondent over this.

In the original thread (entited Freudian slip), someone copied comments from KOS.
This will not have legs. It will be buried by tomorrow. Count on it.
“Upon graduating from Harvard, he got a $40,000 advance for his very first ever book — without any previous writings whatsoever to recommend him.”
Yeah, that sort of thing is common. After graduating from the University of Colorado I got $80,000 from a publisher to write my memoirs.
Or...wait a minute...
Never mind.
GUILTY.
There’s no way to spin this otherwise.
Oh yeah. Quack,Quack,Quack,Quack,Quack,Quack,Quack.
I agree with you (they’re ganging up on us, you and me).
And I agree that using their tactics is stupid and counterproductive.
Frankly, I feel the same way about the baby/mistake thing.
There’s enough REAL stuff to nail this guy, so our becoming like THEM is a tragic mistake.
I personally believe he could well be a Muslim who’s just itching to get into the White House and say, “Gotcha!!”
But I don’t want to become like my enemy in order to nail him.
I am gratified that several others here feel the same way.
Obama is a klutz with words, and we should know it by now. Nail him on his bankrupt political philosophy. Doing otherwise only makes us look ridiculous and desperate.
As for doing good to them, when they do evil to us, you betcha that’s what we should do. We can be good and do good and still nail him — in fact, that’s the ONLY WAY we are going to nail him convincingly enough for the Kool-Aid drinkers to finally vomit him from their mouths!!!!
What it is, is more evidence of the man's duplicitous incompetence.
This type of remark, and others such as the 57 states, highlight an astonishing inability to handle any sort of pressure. Keeping in mind that these people interviewing him are tossing softballs and laying the red carpet at his feet. Hell's bells, how much pressure is there when the "interviewer" has his head so far up Obama's butt we can hardly hear the questions? It's not like any of these people are trying to entrap BO into saying something contradictory. As they do non stop to Republicans.
Put it this way. If a pitcher comes unglued during an intramural baseball game, you don't promote him to the first string in the National League.
Just thank Ala George was there to help him .
