McCain's Little-Known VP Nominee Sarah Palin Delivers Stinging Rebuke of Barack Obama

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin exceeded expectations Wednesday night in her highly anticipated acceptance speech, skewering Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, slamming the news media, painting herself as the ultimate Washington outsider, and touting the military service and reformer record of her ticket-mate GOP presidential candidate John McCain.

And to think, less than one week ago, we barely knew her name.

That is awesome!

The text is tough to read though, I’d play around with the font color before you print out 10,000 of them.

Is there an Election 2008 central graphics thread? You should start one if not.

That person is way too stupid to be allowed to vote. How unfortunate that they can.

That's just because they were not paying attention. People have been talking up Palin since Spring. People who are allegedly in touch with political issues who did not know all about her are just revealing their incompetence.

Palin you can thank the Republic President Bush for high taxes.

WTF?!?!? This person is a true moonbat. Bush cut taxes that were raised by, do you hear me now, a DEMOCRAT.

Perhaps the aero wolf hunting supporters who want to kill defenseless animals.

Wolves are defenseless?? This cat needs to seriously cut back on the cartoons.

Does the holy Bible preach, kill your enemy?

Um, actually, it does. This guy doesn't actually own a Bible, does he?

The MainSlime Media and the Obama campaign really poked themselves in the eye with huge steel girder because all of the excrement they were throwing at Palin.
As a result of the negative media hype, the liberal members of my family watched Sarah Palin’s speech because they wanted to gloat in her failure. Instead they were blown away with her poise, humor, knowledge, qualifications and message. When I spoke to them after the speech they admitted that this would be the first time they would vote Republican!!!

I was actually able to hear entire speeches for a change. Some people were in tears. And Rudy rocked too. It was an amazing night.

You know, I was always hoping for Fred.

But, I gotta say, if I couldn't have Fred, Sarah Palin is pretty darn good.

And, frankly, Old and Old is not good for a ticket. McCain now has a young, energetic Pit Bull in Lipstick, which is going to work out very well for him.

Sarah Palin is in a league of her own, one that Fred could never enter. That’s not a slam against Thompson; it’s an acknowledgment of Palin’s unique skills and talents.

Frankly, I’d rather have Sarah Palin in the White House than Fred Thompson. And I used to be a huge and stubborn Fred Thompson supporter.

Here’s Chris Wallace telling Hillary man Wolfson “You got a problem!” and Wolfson agreeing. They are extremely impressed with Palin.

I think the "change" Obama's dealing with tonight involves his soiled pants after seeing that speech.

ROTFL!!! Well done, my favorite summary of Gov. Palin's speech!

Hmmmmm... we don’t eat arugula in New Zealand. Is it something like quiche?
