Oh, I don’t think Fred is too old at all! We NEED someone on the Court with his depth and breadth of knowledge of the Constitution. It would be terrific having him there, creating a majority on the Court of folks who don’t believe that Justices should legislate from the bench. Even if he were only there for a few years, it would make an enormous difference.

I watched C-SPAN’s coverage tonight - so I didnt have to listen to the inspid BP-raising comments made by the MSM.

But right at the end, Ann Curry (of NBC) raised one hand up and commented on the number of empty seats there were in the upper decks.

Truth be told, I noticed that earlier but didn’t place a whole lot of emphasis on it.

I’m trying to understand Curry’s motivation or reason (other than being a Dem)for asking such a statement. Anyone out there wanna take a stab at it?
