OUR country first. Not some dangerous global citizen of the world like Obama. That’s what it’s about.
To: pollywog
Now he’s making an appeal to the PUMAs - “you may never have voted for a Republican before, but these are not ordinary times - you may not agree with him on every issue but you can depend on him to be straight with you.”
To: jennyjenny
Having Joe speak was Brilliant!!!!
He is appealing to the moderate Dems during Prime Time!

Mrs. GAB’s opinion: There were many people who wanted Fred Thompson as President. He wasn't one of them.

Lieberman appeals to democrats to vote for McCain. Bravo!
To: tcrlaf
Lieberman is communicating very well. I just don’t understand why the monitor screen backdrop has to be green when seen on TV. It is blue to the people in the room.

Going for those Hillary voters :-)Absolutely! I love this speech from a Democrat. He is now speaking to Dems and Indys. He is there to get those votes. This is no ordinary election because these are not ordinary times. John McCain is no ordinary candidate. You may not agree with John McCain on every issue but you can always count on him to be straight with. I applaud Sen Lieberman for this speech!

And that means more attacks on Palin, simply because they can not say anything that separates their own candidate from the ordinary, typical liberal promises.

I sure hope Rush jumps on the major networks tomorrow about their failure to show anything but tiny bits of Fred’s great speech :-(
If the networks don’t get a ton of grief about this they will crap all over Palin’s speech tomorrow!!!
Everyone email Rush...maybe he will raise a stink and heap shame on the networks.

"I think Joe may be out of the DNC sooner than that."
They already booted Joe out for staunchly supporting our troops, WOT. That's why he has my respect.
President and Mrs. Bush, and Fred rocked! What a change from the phony Hollywood light show, last week.
The film that Gary Sinise narrated at the beginning was outstanding also.
Wow- Joe is asking the dems to vote for John McCain- Just Wow!

You know, you have to give old Joe credit for that dig at Lindsey Graham. That was very good!
Like others have said, he's targeting the swing voters, not the folks who have already made up their minds. So, he's doing a great job with that.
