Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont want to imagine it. It makes me cry to think he isnt the nominee. I have a big ole lump in my throat just listening to his speech. I was gonna hold my nose and vote for McCain but I have to admit, he has won my respect in recent weeks especially with Saddleback and the addition of Palin to his ticket. Now I am actually excited about the election. Of course if it was Thompson/Palin I would be beside myself with glee, shouting it from the mountaintop and dancing in the streets!

Nice enough guy but Im sure glad hes not the running mate. That would have been a disaster Glad to have him on the team, we'll need his Senate vote.

“Hes building a bridge to get the moderate dems to vote for McCain...”
Yes. I appreciate that. Good choice to put him on. I join others here, though, in wishing he had spoken before Fred.

“That’s Scary” Who just said that? CNN clearly audible. When he said “National Unity”

It’s really ugly outside with the protesters. Finally.
It took alot of guts for Lieberman to get up there.
