Texas Darlin says that Barack Hussien Obama is his legal name ISN'T IT.? They are going under the theory that Barack Hussien Obama was his birth name.
I am not sure that Obama was ever his legal last name. There is no marriage license to be found for Obama Senior and his mother Stanley Ann Dunham, and Barack Jr. in his own book says he never pressed the issue as to where, when or even if his mother was married.
Since a lot of us think the BC put our for Barack Hussien Obama is fake I believe he was an illegitamate child and his last name on the BC would have been his mothers last name, Dunham, (Thats the way it was back then) I think when she married Lolo Soetoro he then adopted Barack (Barry) and the original BC under Dunham was sealed. The reason I believe this is because if Barack Hussien Obama's name was on the birth certificate he would have had to give up ALL rights to the child in order for Soetoro to adopt him and there would be a record showing that he did that.

It’s been out there for months and months that Osama was registered as a Muslim as a student in Indonesia. I was responding to a specific point about changing his name. I have not idea of what the truth is, just throwing out a possibility.
True. I don’t really care what Muslims would say about it, only what Obama says about his faith, what the evidence is etc.
But, he has denied this past, which is very odd.
You have certainly called that right. Up until now, people like myself were gulled into the dream world of academia, making allowances for a headstrong girl. Most young women at that age can be extremely vulnerable. One can imagine the climate that the young woman was exposed too. What kind of a man was Obama Sr.? An older and sophisticated individual- a predator.
I was going to call it a night. My liberal spouse put on Larry King. There is Jerome Corsi and his book- I believe called The Obamanation or like. A Paul Waldeman, who is of an institute that watches right wing conservatives, is clashing with Corsi.
Corsi has savaged Senator McCain as well. Maybe off topic, but the book deals with much of the subject matter. Oh, yes, old Paul baby uses ad hominem against Corsi. Larry follows with an Obama spokesman on the book. He is called Ed. "Hate monger" quoth he. Now a woman, Andrea, hitting back a little for Corsi. Doing very well as a rebuttal.

Your theory could be right, but TexasDarlin's latest theory is that:
A. Stanley and Obama Sr. got married (in bigamy, while she was preggers already), and that wherever the kid was born, he was given the name Barack Hussein Obama Jr. (or II).
B. Then circa 1966 Stanley married Soetoro and the kid's name was legally changed to Barry Soetoro.
C. That as a teenager the kid decided to go by "Barack Hussein Obama" -- but never followed Hawaiian law for changing his name (even the common law useage law).
D. So "Barry Soetoro" remains his legal name, while he has been running around for years calling himself Barack Obama.
That's her theory, anyway.

Ah yes the ARDC. An organization funded by lawyers and run by lawyers that regulates the behavior of lawyers. They’ve probably already written the letter they’ll send to anyone challenging Obama’s lies saying the case has been closed and no violations were found.
By the way, anyone can file a charge against an attorney for violating Illinois Supreme Court rules and the attorney has a prescribed amount of time to prove the allegations are false... or they are deemed admitted.
Your link is to an older theory. It may be true, but see Post# 172 for TexasDarlin’s current theory that whatever his childhood Hawaiian name was, he never legally changed it to the Barack Obama he has used as an adult.

She was married to Soetoro first, then Obama, then remarried Soetoro, according to these sources. Source 1, Source 2

Another question about the passport. If he did travel on an Indonesian passport, when was it renewed? Who renewed it? He was 10 when he was sent to live with the grandparents. At that time, which passport did he have? What name was on it?
