When he was in Indonesia he was listed as an Indonesian citizen in school documents there (that may simply have been a presumptive entry by a clerk). If he was a citizen of Indonesia they recognize dual citizenship, but if I understand correctly, the USA does not for anyone over age 18, they MUST choose. The US certainly does not recognize dual citizenship for elected officials! (For reasons that should be obvious!)
Could this give a whole new meaning to Cassandra’s “Box?”
“His father was not American and his mother was not old enough to have a natural born citizen of her own right.”
And how old does one have to be?
But were you there during Muhammad Zia’s rule? He had the coup there during that time and had declared marshall law, right?
“There is nothing preventing a natural-born American citizen who is also a citizen of another country from running for President. My kids will be dual-citizens from birth because I am a dual Canadian/American citizen, but they will be eligible to run for President.”
Ah, wrongo moosebreath. The USA does NOT recognize dual citizenship for those over age 18.
nevermind, I just read the other post...thanks for the info.
You are very welcome.
So this "Techdude" is a Hillary supporter?
I thought Techdude was one of us.
Why would he/she agree to donate to funds to help retire Hillary's debt?

Read this. It is an article by a historian who is researching this.
Now he has people who claimed to have called the FEC regarding eligibility and they said there is no oversight agency unless they request campaign funds.
I may call myself, just for my own knowledge and I can say *I* know this. You know?
From the State Department website:
A U.S. citizen may acquire foreign citizenship by marriage, or a person naturalized as a U.S. citizen may not lose the citizenship of the country of birth.U.S. law does not mention dual nationality or require a person to choose one citizenship or another. Also, a person who is automatically granted another citizenship does not risk losing U.S. citizenship. However, a person who acquires a foreign citizenship by applying for it may lose U.S. citizenship. In order to lose U.S. citizenship, the law requires that the person must apply for the foreign citizenship voluntarily, by free choice, and with the intention to give up U.S. citizenship.

I am a dual citizen (actually, a citizen of three countries) and am fully in compliance with US law.
You are confusing “Citizen” with “Natural Born Citizen”. Two different things when running for President.
She would have had to have lived as a citizen for at least 5 years after turning 21, unless his father was a citizen. Someone up thread posted the actual statute I think.
Something has to be amiss with his birth. Why all the deceptiveness otherwise? I’ve always wondered how his parents could legally be married here if the father was still married to another woman in Kenya. Did his father just have to return the chickens and donkeys to the wife’s family for an annulment? Afterall, he did have a child from that Kenyan marriage, and B.O’s mother was already pregnant with him when they claim to have married in the U.S. There’s just too many unanswered questions, and attempts to cover-up the truth by deceit and forgery. The fact that he got this far without having to prove he’s a legal candidate is unbelievable.
maybe it’s time for the anointed one to pull grandma back from under the bus
The problem comes in when commentators on this story, such as yourself, make completely unsubstantiated statements as though they are fact, and when asked to substantiate, crickets chirping is the loudest sound.
Provide some evidence that Pakistan only allowed Muslims, and no Americans (as you state in your post 57) to enter the country in 1981, and you gain some credibility for the rest of your comments.
“Reporters like the ones who ignored the Edwards case?”
Reporters like the ones who are ignoring the Edwards case?
There, fixed it.
Yeah, that part wasn’t written very well.
The Clintoons are waiting in the wings!
