I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

Let me get this straight: We Republicans controlled the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives for six years in a row, and not once did our Republican leadership keep Congress in session for the purpose of enacting or even debating a comprehensive energy policy that would have avoided the mess that we are in now, and yet I’m supposed to view today’s events as something other than political grandstanding during the silly season. I don’t think so.
