Raleigh, N.C. — About 200 to 300 people joined a melee that began inside a Raleigh mall and spilled outside the shopping center during the fight, police said Sunday.
Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said the gang-related brawl began inside Triangle Town Center Mall on Saturday night at about 8 p.m.. Off-duty officers working at the mall requested assistance, and authorities from the Wake County Sheriff's Office and the N.C. Highway Patrol also responded.
Sughrue said a 15-year-old was stabbed during the incident. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A police officer was also injured with a "significant" cut to his knee that he suffered during a chase. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover, Sughrue said.

The only reason I venture to Crabtree Valley Mall is Crate and Barrel. Parking is a nightmare especially after mid-October.
Now, you are NOT going to believe this, but I knew a guy who’s name was Phil Lopian....... he went by his middle name. I only found out his first name because he signed his c/c slip (he came in where I worked all the time) the one day and it confused me b/c I knew him by the middle name. He was a really nice guy.
Also mentioned in the book "Freakonomics". Another name from the book was pronounced /Sha-theed/ but was, unfortunately, spelled Shithead.

A man in Chicago was recently beaten almost to death by a group of black “youths” after he protected his daughter from one of them who had gropped her. If this had been a black who had been almost beaten to death by several white youths, it would have been deemed a “hate” crime.

Just because they’re youths doesn’t mean they can’t be criminals.
What a shame most of these kids won’t even be able to properly spell their own names until 7th or 8th grade. It sounds like some might not make it that far. Gang violence is causing many of them to die very young. If they live another five years they will have so much to look forward to. Prison offers free tv, gym privileges, three free meals a day,Etc.

We had a problem with ‘yutes’ in our local mall several years ago. The mall management BANNED all teens under 18 not accompanied by an adult. The usual suspects whined and complained, but management stuck to their ban. It is now a pleasant and safe place to shop.
A gay, Quaker minister named Chuck Knipp who dresses like a woman and wears black face paint and uses the stage name Shirley Q. Liquor uses all of these names in a bit called “Who’s my babies daddy?” (She supposedly has 19 kids, but names something like 54).

How about Dranoquois.
Some yokes gave their twins these names: Spoonbread and Cornbread. I kid you not. The parents lived in the most liberal county of the state and were well educated!
Then there was name, “Heaven Lee Scent” given to a kid. Again, I kid you not.
It was fun to collect the odd names that parents had given to their kids. But oh the horrors of being stuck with them!
