With all this bluster, I'm beginning to wonder if they actually have an army or navy at all. It sounds like they're on drugs all the time.

Plus now the Gulf States and Saudi.. DUMB on their part... Bottom line.. They loose again, this time BIG time...

No joke. The UAE alone has a more combat capable air force than Iran.

If he is referring the Hitlers " BlitzKrieg " tactics, then ? were are all the tanks ? planes ? .... Iran would not last a chance with what military hardware they have.
Their Navy would fold like a cheap set of cards against our navy.

...they don’t want these a$$holes killing their goose which lays golden eggs.

Agreed but I think the damage is irreversible. The hunt for alternative fuels is on. Good thing too IMHO.

They do have tanks and aircraft. The question is whether they can conduct combined arms operations. By the way, their indigenously-built MBT is a cross between an M-48 and a T-72

Iran doesn’t need to close it down. They’re quite capable of sining a couple of tankers, which would make shipping in the Gulf uninsurable, thus achieving the same effect. It may be necessary to strike Iran, but we shouldn’t be Pollyannish about it. Things will get very messy if we do.

The Iranians are playing the oil markets again. A stooge in the dictatorship issues bombastic supply threats and the market soars, billions are quickly earned, then Tehran leaks to the media that they are willing to 'negotiate' and the bullish energy market abruptly reverts to a bearish price trending and those Shi'ite killers earn mega profit playing both ends, 'puts' & 'calls'! Saddam pulled the same lucrative stunts.

The Iranian terrorist instigating régime is getting filthy rich, supporting their jihadic goals and playing the markets for suckers.

The enemy's game should have ended years ago.

Iran did not sink a single oil tanker during the entire "Tanker War" from 1984-1988. Tankers took direct hits from Silkworm missiles and it was like elephants getting hit with a slingshot.

What makes you think that the Iranians are "quite capable of sining a couple of tankers" now when the Persian Gulf is crawling with U.S. airpower?

During the Tanker War, 546 commercial vessels were damaged.

The oil kept on flowing.

Blitzkrieg is just the old name for "shock and awe", i.e. modern warfare. The US used "Blitzkrieg" tactics in Iraq, so what? However, you not only need the manpower and material for that, but also:

They do have tanks and aircraft. The question is whether they can conduct combined arms operations.

Exactly! Logistics. I can't see Iran pulling that off.

The Iranians are playing the oil markets again.

Which is the real reason behind such buffoonery.
