"They are all adult adolescents, stuck in a state of arrested development, with authoritarian complexes, too much testosterone, and in perpetual "do as your told" mode. They are children with body armor, black uniforms, shaved heads, and pimped out Dodge Chargers just looking for trouble. Hooligans with a gun and a badge."

Right, you don't hate the cops. What a L-O-S-E-R.

So you are saying there is no right to form an opinion / express an opinion freedom on this subject until after the cop gets convicted?

Interesting that you would ask me that when it was "rawhide" who first told me to shut up. Why didn't you ask him? I guess only my opinion should be suppressed?

Hey, you seem reasonable, SG... I love freedom of speech, but when a bunch of immature poo-butts who are probably still living in their mommies' basements begin calling me names and telling me to shut up, and calling the officer in question names and accusing him of all kinds of terrible things, hinting at threats toward him and other LEOs... Well, who's going to react favorably to that?

They need to back off and consider what they're saying. The officer's lawyer has made some good points. Anyone who watches that video dispassionately has to see some of the same things I saw... She was resisting. I think some degree of force was necessary but things may have gotten a little out of hand, didn't go exactly as the officer intended... Let's let this go to trial and see what happens. It wouldn't surprise me if he's exonerated.

No jerkwater, you're buddy who did this is a L-O-S-E-R.

He is a loser. A loser with serious organ endowment issues.

No MAN worthy of the title does THAT to a defenseless, innocent woman. You are defending his unmanly, cowardly, brutish behavior so that makes you cut from the same cloth.

I sure don't want your opinion suppressed. Your pathological spewings lend our position tons of validation. With friends like you, your street thug buds don't need any enemies.

There is an old saying about how it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Guess they kinda skipped over that one in your household huh?

She didn’t look like she did anything to deserve the officer’s actions to me. Agitated and upset maybe because of what happened to her niece, but not aggressive and not threatening. I’m not sure where you see the PITA behavior at worst her body language seemed to say “please don’t push me around”, but ultimately it shouldn’t matter.

Police have to deal with people in emotionally charged situations all the time and should be prepared in training and temperament to calm people like this woman down without violence. The cop lost his cool and acted completely out of proportion to the situation and should lose his job before he loses his temper again.

There was another officer that looked like he was just starting to intervene between them when the first maneuvered around her and picked her up. It is a shame he wasn’t a couple seconds faster or things might not have gotten so out of control.

From the following article: http://lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2008806280348

When FBI agents began questioning Yonkers police officers about the alleged beating a fellow cop gave a woman at a restaurant, the blue wall of silence crumbled.

Agents asked about the images from a surveillance videotape that appeared to show Officer Wayne Simoes brutally slamming Irma Marquez facedown to the ground.

"Several officers stated that, based on their training and experience, Simoes' use of force against Marquez was unreasonable and excessive," FBI Agent Kristina Norris wrote in a criminal complaint against Simoes filed in U.S. District Court in White Plains.

You seem to view this through a pair of race colored glassed based on her name.

I think the fact that he pinned her arms is the part about this that seems the most brutal. Opposite to your view, my impression is he did it very deliberately as he threw her down because he didn’t want her offering him any resistance.

Thanks for the link. It reinforces my thinking that the other cops didn’t agree with what he was doing.

“Yeah, tough guy, no sissy-boy with a badge has the balls to follow through with you, right, you’re so damned bad. He wouldn’t dare.”

Facts are facts, son. So far every bully cop who started in with me unprovoked, on the job or off,has backed down when his efforts bore fruit. Every single one. The key word in all of this is UNPROVOKED. I wouldn’t particularly take it amiss if someone I snotted off to or was otherwise hostile to resented it.I also have seen others back down a formerly sneering swaggering tough-guy-with-a-badge by simply stepping up to them. Lack of balls is a REQUIREMENT for such immature and vicious amd stupid bullying under color of authority. No one who IS a Man would bother doing it.

Now: I quoted you above. SHOW ME WHERE I WROTE WHAT YOU IDIOTCALLY (or is it delusionally?) ATTRIBUTED TO ME!!!

It’s sad to see but some here on FR are blindly pro-cop no matter what. I guess to support “law and order” you must also support any miscreant who happens to have a badge.

Hey, keep putting her picture up there. I think it's great. Looks like she learned a valuable lesson: When a cop tells you to calm down and back up, you should do it. He's just doing his job. When you refuse and he then tells you you are under arrest and grabs your wrist to put the cuffs on, DO NOT RESIST.

Here's hoping you learn the same lesson soon, and in the same way, as you're obviously too dense to learn from someone else's painful example.

Until then it's been fun schooling you, dippy.

...has backed down when his efforts bore fruit.

Oh, now it's because his efforts bore fruit and not because he lacked the balls to continue. Your delusions are amazing.

Yeah, I really hate that too. That's why some of the cops here on FR are mad at me, because I won't support them "no matter what" and have been quite vocal in my criticism of cops when I thought it was warranted.

But I also try to be meticulously fair and impartial about it and am glad to give them a break when they deserve it.

What's really sad is to see what purports to be a full-grown man hating cops for 30 years just because one of them told him back then to move along and stop using the mall as his own personal skateboarding park, lol. That's where half these Losers with a capital 'L' are coming from.

That's right, go hide in your little 'rat hole where I can't talk back.
"No, pinhead, I have never needed a cop. Cops have never been there when I or one of my own needed one, they are only around later to often make a bigger mess of things... There are very few police officers in this country anymore. They are all adult adolescents, stuck in a state of arrested development, with authoritarian complexes, too much testosterone, and in perpetual "do as your told" mode. They are children with body armor, black uniforms, shaved heads, and pimped out Dodge Chargers just looking for trouble. Hooligans with a gun and a badge. --NucSubs, a dyed-in-the-wool cop-hater
The outrageous thing is that the cops are there for him EVERYDAY and EVERY MINUTE of his sad, pathetic life, and he doesn't have the basic human decency to feel in the least bit grateful for it or acknowledge his indebtedness to them. What a pathetic POS.

Ok, I didn't notice that the first time, but I found it at post 47. Sorry about that.

No body should be telling anyone else here to shut up. For one it's childish. For another, it's almost always better to just let the person go on talking whatever their line is for all the world to see and decide.

I for one certainly disagree with your view of the officer's body slam of the woman, as apparently do others here, and I think that is where you're getting a lot of heat from.

I think we're both in agreement that this should go to trial, but we have different views on how this will turn out.

Apparently the woman afterwards was arrested and charged with "obstruction of governmental administration". Seems like a convenient CYA move on the part of the police. She was cleared.

If the police officer was surprised that his body slam of the woman didn't go exactly as he intended, well, just wait until this goes to the jury at trail...
