GOP presidential candidate John McCain is inviting his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, to participate in a joint town hall at an open-borders advocacy group’s upcoming meeting in California.
“There is a meeting in California of La Raza,” McCain told reporters at an Arlington press conference Monday. “Both of us have accepted invitations. I say that we have a town hall meeting together in front of La Raza. I think that the people will be far more informed and in some ways, entertained if we had that format.”

Amazing that someone who’s so “independant” and a “maverick” toes the liberal line regarding racist/anarchist groups like LaRaza.
ANWR is federal govt property. His positions on this have been consistent. We have plenty of oil off shore and on private lands in the western states. Where does he say he forbids states to drill on state land? Show me.
La Raza is okay but Hagee is rejected.

You must be joking. McCain is a La Raza favorite and recipient of their awards. His buddy, Lindsey Graham, spoke before them a year ago and said that the "bigots should shut up," i.e., those who opposed the amnesty bill.

I haven’t forgotten that McCain endorsed my “former” anti ANWR drilling RINO who also opposed exploration under the great lakes as well.
Saying he opposes the ban doesn’t hold much weight compared to his history of working to block stuff like that forever.
Because it is only off-shore that he is talking about. The off-shore oil is A) further out from the shore than normally a state would have a say over B) only off states that will not approve of it.

McCain also believes in global warming regulations and is for a horrible “cap and Trade” global warming bill that will cripple U.S. industry with high global warming taxes and crippling regulations on “emissions” etc. This is PURE socialism/Marxism and the most aggressive attempt by socialists to get the government to control the free U.S. economy and cripple the engine of the economy , free market Capitalism (private property).
These are just 3 examples that prove McCain is and always has been a moon bat liberal/Marxist. Anyone of these 3 examples could destroy the U.S. by turning it into a 3rd world socialist state. Who has done more damage to America and freedom than McCain? He says he is for national security? Then why does McCain want to leave the southern border wide open to all invaders including Muslim terrorists and wants to aid the illegal invasion by Mexico?
McCain also is against water boarding Muslim terrorists.
There are hundreds of other examples that show that McCain is a Marxist like Obama is and as much a threat to America and freedom as Obama is. We need to elect conservatives to the Senate and House to help Republicans and Republican Mitch McConnel stop whichever one of these socialists gets into the white house.
I wish McCain would select Tom Tancredo as VP and then I hope McCain resigns a few days after taking the oath of office. That and the GOP in the Senate are the only chances America has to stop Democrats and one of these morons( McCain or Obama) from destroying the economy and our country.
I challenge any McCainiac to debate me on these issues, McCain-Feingold, Amnesty for illegals, cap and trade, etc. if you dare.
Well, to be on the fair side, I guess I could wish that he was really setting up an elaborate ICE sting operation where the attendees would be taken into custody and deported, but I’m afraid my a$$hole is too full of McCain moonbeams with all of the other stuff he’s tried to cram up it lately.......
