They're everywhere, from the bare-breasted ladies who decorate the fountain at Dupont Circle to the peekaboo statue in the Justice Department's Great Hall to the countless nudes in our museums. But while those of us who live here hardly blink at the public nudity, it can shock some of our visitors. Such was the case for Robert Hurt, who last week tried to add the issue of artistic indecency in the nation's capital to the platform of the Texas GOP....
OH NO NOT BREASTS!!!!
Really, it's a sad day when bared flesh (not even real bared flesh, mind you) is a political issue. It's this kind of thing that makes the GOP a joke these days.

At first I thought this was some kind of joke.
Apparently it isn’t.
How sad.
I hope the GOP decides it has better issues to add to their platform than this, because if they do not then they deserve to lose Texas... and the Nation.
Get a grip, for allah’s sake.

The article says the guy has 14 children.
You’d think he’d have seen a breast or two by now, and maybe not be so alarmed by them..

If bare breasts are our biggest “problem”, then, man. We got it good.
I wish those idiots would get over their own shame of the human body and just get back to work.

I've never heard of this guy but we've only lived here for 13 years. We've got lots of art and artists in Kerrville ... if you like bluebonnets, cowboys and hill country landscapes.

Probably afraid that if he looks at a statue, it will get pregnant.
